Chaos Warriors in Fantasy remind me of the joke Robin Williams made about football: "You're going up against a guy called 'the Refrigerator.' Bullshit! He's a HOUSE WITH LEGS!!"
Horus: Lied to and manipulated. Lorgar: Lied to and manipulated. Fulgrim: Lied to and manipulated. Angron: Treated absolutely awfully. Konrad Kurze: Believed he had no choice. Alpharius: The only way to save the Universe is to betray father, but I will must support him nonetheless... Mortarion: MY DADDY KILLED MY DADDY AND I WANTED TO KILL HIM SO NOW I WANT TO KILL DADDY! Then Nurgle ate him. Perturabo: I WANTED TO BE THE BUILDING THINGS GUY! Magnus: Oopsie!
My parents and significant other are convinced that blood makes their models better, and the only people I've seen try and accept chaos are my mom and my gf.
I would respect it if they'd initially written Abbadon as a genuine work-in-progress chief from the beginning. I would have done it by now just to do it.
This is why I like Archeon as a villan compared to Abadon. He WON. Sure the story wasn't very good but he did managed to succeed in what he set out to do. Abadon just failed for decades and now GW is trying to make him more competent.
ahh yes skaven vs dark elves. to quite the sculler and vissionar professor hulk. 'i see this as an absolute win' less pointy ear fucks in the world is always a good thing and since the rats also have pointy ears it works doboerly as well
Honestly AOS comes across as better designed 40k, GW needs to just admit that Abbadon and other "always winning" factions have lost some times and invent another way to progress the setting than some one winning or pulling a supper weapon out their asses. Why make them Mary Sue when how someone handles failure is a way better method of characterising them and making the relatable than some emo power fantasy.
kinda miss wulfrik the wanderer and his never-ending dueling quest here nowadays. valkia on the other hand easily as enjoyable as kharn over in 40k, even more so because she is more of a champion than a victim. valkia or lotara?
Mint chocolate chip used to be my favorite. Then my parents began buying brands where the chocolate wasn't actually chips, and I stopped liking it, because I was too young to realize that not ALL mint chocolate chip chocolate got replaced with chocolate dust. Also, I'm of the belief that any mint chocolate chip that is white and not mint green is weird.
I'm not going to lie, I don't actually mind Chaos getting the wins they were given BUT I would've liked it if they received their victories in a fun, tragic, logical or absolutely legendary way instead of "it's Chaos". and is it just me or was I hearing Age of Mythology while watching this? it's very quiet but I think I heard it
Here I would argue that Fulgrim allowing Fabius (also making Fabius Chief Apothecary) before he picked up the Laer sword is bad enough. Then afterwards just accepting the fact that it was his own subconscious voice telling bossing him around. It was after his painting was done that he was like "Oh maybe isn't my subconcious mind, but whatever it's cool". In my book Fulgrim doesn't get a pass since everything he did and his fall was basically lead by his own hubris in his quest for "perfection"

Thank you for stressing how pathetic Morty is.
5:47 Nagash is like a cockroach, only at least a cockroach will eventually get tired of getting stomped and will eventually fuck off.
The slaves of darkness are practically knights in jousting armor that decided fuck it let’s be Vikings
Did someone say…CHAOS???

Yeah...Games Workshop did.

I don't know about that. You'd be surprised at the amount of people who are okay w/ it.
Cant wait for fantasy to return

I don't know what that last sentence means here but drunk me is right!

Huron blackheart was a much more interesting leader for chaos, which I think he was in the first few editions

Cookie Dough, Cookies and Creme, and Mint Chocolate Chip.

Any chance of reacting to the Do or Don't High Elves video? Or the Teclis video? The rampant favoritism and elf simping are hilarious.
The Lumineth one is FAR worse as far as elf simping goes. Look at the Lores Downsides section where Pancreas denies that there are any lore cons.
Old man you said Magnus, Peter Turbo, Horus had reasons but you forgot Fulgrim dude got conned and bamboozled by Slannesh
