It actually leaves even more out because it's (as of right now) only available in Japan. I do believe this kind of thing is more of a developer side issue. I don't think Sony made the decision (this time).

But to deliberately cheer for them to fail, hence putting more jobs at risk is unhinged behavior. If you want a good game, cheer for the good game to eventuate and if it doesn’t, then by all means, slam the higher ups with the decision making. If making good games “bails” them out, and in turn forces them to make good games again, then so be it.

I lost all interest in MH Wilds once I saw they ruined IG. And it's not just me, there are multiple forum posts on different websites with other IG mains pissed off, with some not interested in the game anymore like myself.
As an IG main since 4th gen (before hammer and s&s) and really liking the helicopter moves in World and Rise, I can say that yes it is sad that it SEEMS to be not a thing anymore but I will play the game still because MH is always awesome and if IG really is not worth it then it is time to learn a new weapon or weapons. But if the fun you have was exclusively bound to IG's helicopter then be assured I feel you're pain and I do hope it will come back. It was the best feeling ever! Maybe we will meet in World or Rise again.
Driver 1 and 2 pack for $20, 60fps 1080p. That would be amazing! Loved those games on PC back in the day. Driver San Francisco was also a lot of fun… I’d pay $20 for that too.
I'm interested to see if any of the publishers that released cloud versions of games will offer native versions on the Switch 2 at some point. Kingdom Hearts and Control specifically come to mind

Driver 2 walked so GTA 3 could run! Blew my mind getting out of the car for the first time 😅 Even the replay clip mode was next level. Soon after Burnout and other games started doing that too.

FF14 (which I started a month ago and have just finished ARR, just gotta finished the later patch’s of the 2.0) has Activity Cards on PS5 but I never looked at them because they are always censored because of potential spoilers. The activity cards actually say that they may contain spoilers and I really don’t want my story spoiled so I just have never used them.
It's a fun ride, just a brief pair of warnings. The English voice crew changes after ARR, so be prepared for that. You might want to change voices for your cutscenes as the most recent expansion has one prominent voice that's terrible and lowers the quality of the whole experience.
@@notmousse I’ve got about 138 hours in it since October 1st when I started. I have finished 2.0, and am currently finishing the last of the blue quests after 2.0. Next step is Crystal Tower/Raids and 2.1-2.5 updates of the MSQ. Side note: the Hildibrand questline was pretty funny. Also met Gilgamesh and played a lot of Triple Triad. I played 22 FF games with the platinum trophy for them all in preparation for this game. I’m addicted to the game please help me.
@@Duckman8213 So much stuff offers cards you'll be shocked. Side quests are great about filling in bits of lore. If you haven't done the Coils of Behamut I'd suggest doing them before starting Endwalker.
@@notmousse I’ll be doing the main Raid of every expansion to cap off the story before moving to the next expansion. So once I’ve finished everything in ARR I’ll then do Coils of Bahamut (also savage but mainly for the Coil of Bahamut Savage trophy for PS5) before moving onto the next expansion. The Raids I’m most looking forward to in FF14 are the NieR raids during Shadowbringers as I’m a massive NieR fan. I only know they exist. I know nothing else about the NieR Dark Apocalypse stuff other than that because I don’t want to be spoiled at all. I also heard the Yoko Taro actually helped with the writing for that Questline which makes me even more excited.

I've used activity cards some times when they were available for tracking trophy data on certain games that it was available for. Shame that Sony seems to have forgotten about this feature half way into the PS5 life cycle.
I just got an email from PlayStation about PlayStation Stars and how my membership would soon be cancelled if I didn’t agree to terms. Seein’ as that I mostly buy my games physically and the program doesn’t really appeal to me much, I feel like it was a scare tactic. I don’t negotiate with bullies.
I noticed when I cancelled my PS Plus membership, Stars doesn't really offer anything for you. When you have PS Plus, you get points for every digital purchase that can be converted into Wallet funds but as soon as you stop paying, you get literally no points whatsoever, no matter how many digital purchases you make. Seems pointless unless you have PS Plus.
Don’t think it’s bullying, just typical safeguard against certain claims and liability as part of a contractual agreement to utilize their products. I have tenants sign a ton of residential rental agreements being a landlord. Don’t feel good about it, but it is absolutely necessary to not only protect me, but also the tenant. The PS5 OS can be unnecessarily confusing. Like when I redeemed my sonic jam skin from Sega's newsletter promotion, it was really unintuitive trying to find exactly where I needed to go to download it because it isn't listed the same way as DLC on the storefront. Eventually I found out I had to go to one specific menu, 'manage game content' that you can only get to by pressing options over the game icon.

The PC release helped quite a bit. It's still in the top 5 best selling PS5 games. Square should do day : date releases for FF games on PC, PS5 and Xbox. Hopefully Switch 2 as well

my Activity cards have been glitching out while playing the SH2 remake. its said "current activity: woodside apartments 100%" for almost my entire playthrough. also, when i finished my first playthrough i was given the "Safter Than Fog" trophy (complete the game in under 10hrs). i was pushing 30hrs on that playthrough. im relieved i dont need to do a speedrun of the game now to get the plat, but thought it was weird.

Activities Cards never worked well. They seemed to always take you to the title screen. Probably a game developer problem; not so much Sonys, kind of like the haptic feedback controller feature.
I was going to get that after enjoying the demo, but Metaphore came out of no where for me, and was just too good. I’ll definitely pick up RS2 as soon as I finish Metaphore though. They did such a fantastic job with it.
I played rayman on the GBA and it still holds up today. They wouldn’t have to do much to modernize maybe just pull the camera out a bit and up res everything.
I have a check from the class action lawsuit regarding PS3 Linux. It was for $10 and some change. I kept it as a trophy, the check itself being much cooler than the money. 🥳

I wonder if the Bandai Namco remaster/remake for Switch list includes the Project X Zone games, since PXZ2 featured Nintendo characters in it. If they announced a collection that included Namco X Capcom and both PXZ games, that would be an instant pre-order for me; especially if it also included the two SRW Endless Frontier games to complete the Shinra quintology.
I'll be checking in on the MH beta. Although I am a fan, there are some things added in which I am somewhat not sold on, I am one of those rare people who preferred Rise to World after all, and Wilds is taking more from the later than the former, but I still want to give it a shot. I also want to see how well my PC handles it too., since the PC specs are monster-like. I am glad that Astrobot is doing well. I was worried for a moment that it was mis-targeted against Sony's current audience. So its good to know its selling.
A remake of the first Rayman game would be awesome. That game needs to fix the big problem, collecting all of the Electoons in order to get to Mr. Dark. And a remaster of Hoodlum Havoc would be awesome.

I think we are too negative about the disbanding of the The Lost Crown Team. With how the Gaming Industry is treating most Devs as diposable pawns right now they might as well have been let go due to underwhelming results of the project (as we wanted it to sell like Pokémon).
I mean astrobot is just a nintendo platformer so it probably would do good in sales. I just wish it had more between stage progression to change up more of how you can reapproach each stage.

Nintendo are the worst culprits for remasters. Yet the media lose their minds every time Sony do a remaster. You couldn't make it up. Look at how many remasters and remakes are on Switch. The list is obscene.
Difference is, Sony puts in less effort, and the games they do this with could already be played on modern hardware AND were already perfectly fine for the most part, not to mention Nintendo still has actually new games to release.
Most of the game Sony remastered are already easily playable. Most of the games Nintendo remasters are not easily found unless you're one of the 13 million people with a Wii U.
It’d be cool if there were any remasters of Tekken for the switch. Even the one from Wii U being ported to the switch would be nice; we don’t have anything Tekken currently. Ridge Racer would be great too
There is a Serious Catch 22 with all of these Remakes and remasters. On 1 hand it is bringing back old favorites of ours that we would have to dust off an old console to play. But also means we arent getting very many new IPs. And quite frankly i have a hard time spending $70 on a game that I once paid $50 for.
Personally, I really like Horizon, but I understand the criticism. I'm concerned about the multiplayer as the ability to "focus" and have everything go slow is so integral to the combat, and that just doesn't work in a multi-player setting.
Interesting that Nintendo is now trying to court 3rd party studios to bring remastered older titles to the Switch... Considering the timeline, it feels like the only thing that will happen this fiscal year is the "announcement" of the new Switch, and the launch will be for somewhere in Summer or fall of next year. It's slowly being pushed backwards again and again, isn't it?

Horizon checks the DEI boxes, which is why they shove it in our faces.

FF14 (which I started a month ago and have just finished ARR, just gotta finished the later patch’s of the 2.0) has Activity Cards on PS5 but I never looked at them because they are always censored because of potential spoilers. The activity cards actually say that they may contain spoilers and I really don’t want my story spoiled so I just have never used them.
It's a fun ride, just a brief pair of warnings. The English voice crew changes after ARR, so be prepared for that. You might want to change voices for your cutscenes as the most recent expansion has one prominent voice that's terrible and lowers the quality of the whole experience.
@@notmousse I’ve got about 138 hours in it since October 1st when I started. I have finished 2.0, and am currently finishing the last of the blue quests after 2.0. Next step is Crystal Tower/Raids and 2.1-2.5 updates of the MSQ.
Side note: the Hildibrand questline was pretty funny. Also met Gilgamesh and played a lot of Triple Triad.
I played 22 FF games with the platinum trophy for them all in preparation for this game. I’m addicted to the game please help me.
@@Duckman8213 So much stuff offers cards you'll be shocked. Side quests are great about filling in bits of lore. If you haven't done the Coils of Behamut I'd suggest doing them before starting Endwalker.
@@notmousse I’ll be doing the main Raid of every expansion to cap off the story before moving to the next expansion. So once I’ve finished everything in ARR I’ll then do Coils of Bahamut (also savage but mainly for the Coil of Bahamut Savage trophy for PS5) before moving onto the next expansion.
The Raids I’m most looking forward to in FF14 are the NieR raids during Shadowbringers as I’m a massive NieR fan. I only know they exist. I know nothing else about the NieR Dark Apocalypse stuff other than that because I don’t want to be spoiled at all. I also heard the Yoko Taro actually helped with the writing for that Questline which makes me even more excited.

I've used activity cards some times when they were available for tracking trophy data on certain games that it was available for. Shame that Sony seems to have forgotten about this feature half way into the PS5 life cycle.
I just got an email from PlayStation about PlayStation Stars and how my membership would soon be cancelled if I didn’t agree to terms. Seein’ as that I mostly buy my games physically and the program doesn’t really appeal to me much, I feel like it was a scare tactic. I don’t negotiate with bullies.
I noticed when I cancelled my PS Plus membership, Stars doesn't really offer anything for you. When you have PS Plus, you get points for every digital purchase that can be converted into Wallet funds but as soon as you stop paying, you get literally no points whatsoever, no matter how many digital purchases you make. Seems pointless unless you have PS Plus.
Don’t think it’s bullying, just typical safeguard against certain claims and liability as part of a contractual agreement to utilize their products. I have tenants sign a ton of residential rental agreements being a landlord. Don’t feel good about it, but it is absolutely necessary to not only protect me, but also the tenant. It’s just standard procedure.
I will say however, having the email titled as: “Act Now to Keep your PlayStation Stars Membership” does sound a bit odd, unwelcoming and hostile.
@@cbgg1585 - I originally wanted to say “leasing agreements and gaming are completely different,” but I thought about how off-base that statement would have been. With digital gaming [and physical to an extent], we as consumers basically lease the video games we play and agree to stuff all the time. I’m not really fond of this existential dread haha.
Theyre just letting you know cause it affects how points are earned and how long they are valid for, typical obligatory notice. If you read the whole email, you can literally rejoin anytime you want, or not, doesnt matter to most people or for previously earned points.

The PS5 OS can be unnecessarily confusing. Like when I redeemed my sonic jam skin from Sega's newsletter promotion, it was really unintuitive trying to find exactly where I needed to go to download it because it isn't listed the same way as DLC on the storefront. Eventually I found out I had to go to one specific menu, 'manage game content' that you can only get to by pressing options over the game icon.

The PC release helped quite a bit. It's still in the top 5 best selling PS5 games. Square should do day : date releases for FF games on PC, PS5 and Xbox. Hopefully Switch 2 as well

The fact of the matter is that you don't give a flying fuck about new IPs until you actually play them for yourself. Wheras with remasters or remakes of your favorite games, you instantly are paying attention.
New IPs have stagnated since the 2000s, and this is a literal fact.
As for remasters and remakes, sadly, the masses eat those up. It frustrates me to no end, but there's nothing I can do about what other people do with their money.

my Activity cards have been glitching out while playing the SH2 remake. its said "current activity: woodside apartments 100%" for almost my entire playthrough.
also, when i finished my first playthrough i was given the "Safter Than Fog" trophy (complete the game in under 10hrs). i was pushing 30hrs on that playthrough. im relieved i dont need to do a speedrun of the game now to get the plat, but thought it was weird.

Activities Cards never worked well. They seemed to always take you to the title screen. Probably a game developer problem; not so much Sonys, kind of like the haptic feedback controller feature.

I was going to get that after enjoying the demo, but Metaphore came out of no where for me, and was just too good. I’ll definitely pick up RS2 as soon as I finish Metaphore though. They did such a fantastic job with it.

PS slim plates do not fit on the PS Pro.
I played rayman on the GBA and it still holds up today. They wouldn’t have to do much to modernize maybe just pull the camera out a bit and up res everything.

Seems like the Switch 2 rumor mill has relaxed a bit. I'm hearing less and less. Nintendo should probably just give us details at this point.
I wonder if the Bandai Namco remaster/remake for Switch list includes the Project X Zone games, since PXZ2 featured Nintendo characters in it. If they announced a collection that included Namco X Capcom and both PXZ games, that would be an instant pre-order for me; especially if it also included the two SRW Endless Frontier games to complete the Shinra quintology.
I'll be checking in on the MH beta. Although I am a fan, there are some things added in which I am somewhat not sold on, I am one of those rare people who preferred Rise to World after all, and Wilds is taking more from the later than the former, but I still want to give it a shot. I also want to see how well my PC handles it too., since the PC specs are monster-like.
I am glad that Astrobot is doing well. I was worried for a moment that it was mis-targeted against Sony's current audience. So its good to know its selling.
A remake of the first Rayman game would be awesome. That game needs to fix the big problem, collecting all of the Electoons in order to get to Mr. Dark. And a remaster of Hoodlum Havoc would be awesome.

I tried an activity card once and it took me to the splash screen that was no different from starting the game normally... basically it was kind of useless. Havent touched them since.

I think we are too negative about the disbanding of the The Lost Crown Team. With how the Gaming Industry is treating most Devs as diposable pawns right now they might as well have been let go due to underwhelming results of the project (as we wanted it to sell like Pokémon).

Never played any Rayman games but I watched an animation on Netflix, Captain Laserhawk, and Rayman was in it! Fking brilliant (and dark) with killer music!! Since then I've been wondering bout the games.

Nintendo are the worst culprits for remasters. Yet the media lose their minds every time Sony do a remaster. You couldn't make it up. Look at how many remasters and remakes are on Switch. The list is obscene.
Difference is, Sony puts in less effort, and the games they do this with could already be played on modern hardware AND were already perfectly fine for the most part, not to mention Nintendo still has actually new games to release.
Most of the game Sony remastered are already easily playable. Most of the games Nintendo remasters are not easily found unless you're one of the 13 million people with a Wii U.
It’d be cool if there were any remasters of Tekken for the switch. Even the one from Wii U being ported to the switch would be nice; we don’t have anything Tekken currently. Ridge Racer would be great too
There is a Serious Catch 22 with all of these Remakes and remasters. On 1 hand it is bringing back old favorites of ours that we would have to dust off an old console to play. But also means we arent getting very many new IPs. And quite frankly i have a hard time spending $70 on a game that I once paid $50 for.

I never could beat Driver 2. One mission, i forget which was near impossible to beat.
Personally, I really like Horizon, but I understand the criticism. I'm concerned about the multiplayer as the ability to "focus" and have everything go slow is so integral to the combat, and that just doesn't work in a multi-player setting.
A remaster of Rayman 2 would be something!

Considering the timeline, it feels like the only thing that will happen this fiscal year is the "announcement" of the new Switch, and the launch will be for somewhere in Summer or fall of next year. It's slowly being pushed backwards again and again, isn't it?
