I have played guitar for 35 years and probably have watched all of Mike Gross videos Ratt or Crue or VH countless times. But when he said if you havent done this before now you are hammering on three things at once I burst into tears.
Just putting up Christmas decorations after a crazy day at work. It really sucks! Started listening to this amazing song while decorating and decided I really needed to learn this song. Great lesson Mike! Just an awesome song.
Mike are you sure it is E major in the hammer on? I can’t hear the first fret on the G string in the studio recording... must admit it does sound awesome the way you play it though, but not sure it is absolutely right (and you are a purist!)
Awesome lesson... Has there ever been a guitarist who has done more coolness with the E, G, A, and D chords? LoL ... If you ever get around to it, how about a little Ronin Trower, "Bridge of Sighs", or Lenny Kravitz, "Always on the Run"? I know the latter of the two has Slash AND Lenny guitar parts, and I always end up starting playing one part, and then accidentally shifting into playing the other guy's part..
