Craig McCracken is this weeks guest! Craig has worked on so many shows from the early 90's to now. From 2 Stupid Dogs, Dexter's Lab to creating the Powerpuff Girls, Foster's Home for Imaginary Friends, Wander over Yonder and Kid Cosmic. In this episode we chat about how he started his career, his creations, his biggest influences, how he gets and flushes out ideas for creating these amazing shows and so much more.
Craig is one of those creators that has been so prolific, that almost every decade since the 90s he has given us all something we can call our own. Most people are lucky to catch lightning in a bottle once, Craig through hard work and dedication to his craft has continued to catch lightning for the past 26 years. This was an interview I never thought I would get to do, Ive been a fan of this man since I was 6. It was a dream come true for me to chat with someone that helped mold my world and gave me something to watch then and watch now with my kids.

One of the many challenges about Cartoons is this, it's hard to make the human characters distinct from the nonhuman characters. Because typically even the human characters look wacky. So whenever a cartoon character in a cartoon watches a cartoon it basically looks like thr same shit, so it makes you think "isn't this considered live action for them?"
Well Craig McCracken managed to make the imaginary friends looks very wacky and silly, but still maintained to make his human characters look silly too. So we the audience were still able to tell apart who was real and who was imaginary in the show, while this cartoon still looking like a cartoon. Another cartoon I know that did this well was ChalkZone. We were able to tell apart the fake chalk people from thr real people, while maintaining the cartoony look from the both parties. I don't know if I did a good job explaining what I meant, hope it doesn't sound like a bunch of gibberish.

Underrated channel by far deserves far more views/subs. This is an original podcast channel full of the geniuses that made our childhoods amazing.
