Why didnt ECOMOG intervene in Rwanda
Rwanda genocide lasted for just 3 months. From April to July. So it all happened too fast to make decisions, mobilize and send troops.
Ecomog was a West African force and Rwanda is in East Africa.
After the Americans messed it up, the Ethiopians stabilised the country. They were poorly equipped, with few numbers and generally despised by Somalians, but still did what US couldn't.
