Wow, this is really helpful with so many explanations about different threads , ideas and setting- video. If I will watch this video before , I will definitely buy this janome overlocker, but I bought few days ago, bernette B64 air and waiting for delivery, but I bought also Janome coverstitch 3000 - waiting for delivery too :) I think this knowledge about different threads, can be useful for any overlocker including my not delivered yet Bernette, and for my Janome coverpro 3000. Your video is the best video I ever watched at you tube regarding overlockers I already saved it to my favourites. Im in london uk, and I found, best Janome videos, come from Canada. Yesterday I watched Celine video about Janome 3000 and today, I bought it :) I really like your voice and amazing enthusiasm energy comes from your video. Thank you very much.
Thank you for this video, I love your enthusiasm. Your Janome videos have been useful even to me, I'm in Finland and considering buying my first serger. I may order this model, unless there are new models coming out soon ;D - the value of euro is very low at the moment and the prices are probably not getting any lower in near future.
Hi I'm trying to get one of the Looper Threader's as shown at 13:06 for my mum. We're in Australia and can't find anywhere to get it even online. Would someone be able to be able to help me get one please?
Thank you for an informative video, my 2000d arrives this Tuesday, what is the ideal (higher-end fabric) thread to use for 100% rayon matte jersey fabric?
Yay! Congratulations on your new machine! The fabric sounds gorgeous! I honestly use the Madeira Aerolock and Aeroflock thread for all of my serging. I've never had any trouble with the thread, which is why I use it for everything. In this case, I'd try the Aeroflock in the loopers so the seam is nice and soft like the fabric. Always do a few tests to see which you prefer and how the fabric reacts.
I will shortly be ordering my Janome serger and am looking forward to it very much. Thank you for this informative video, very helpful BUT I have to say that for a world-wide and respected company like Janome, it would be thought that they could get someone who could hold a camera still for the video ?? the camera work is terrible and amateur and certainly doesn't live up to the reputation of Janome, it is cheap and nasty !
Congratulations on your soon to be new machine. You're right that this video is amateur as that's exactly what my partner, who so graciously helped me, and I are - amateurs. We are not professional videographers. This presentation was recorded during the early days of the pandemic when everyone was isolated at home, so we did the best we could with what equipment we had on hand. We were trying to share the Janome love, and trying to connect with our fans and Janome users who couldn't go to their dealer, or sewing groups for help as everywhere was locked down with businesses closed. We were trying to make the best of a bad situation, so it's unfortunate you consider that nasty. I hope you learned something watching the video, though, as that was the point - sharing the information and sharing the love of sewing.
Wow… that’s just rude. These Individuals who work for Janome work hard at putting out all the info for free for us and for others who don’t even own Janome. They’re extremely knowledgeable & that by any means should overshadow this what you call “amateur camera work”. None of the other videos are like this. So maybe put two and two together that for whatever reason this is just all they had to work with. I’m pretty sure they were aware of how shaky it was. We have the option of just not watching if we’re not happy with it🤷♀️ Although it was not requested I would like to say he works hard at Janome I just felt the need to give my opinion. Obviously either way you trust JANOME because you’re ordering one🤣

@@janomehqjanomecanada4908 thanks!
@@janomehqjanomecanada4908 forgot to ask!...so when dealing with stretchy fabrics theres not a need for stretch threads correct?...D:)
@@darrentrentacosta yes, correct. The thread doesn't need to stretch because of how the stitch is created on the serger; it will provide the stretch
