I don't think that Waller is crazy in this scene but just rattled. Don't get me wrong, she is in desperate need of therapy. However, one of Waller's core character traits is her need to control others to achieve her desired outcome. The reason she created task force X is because she wanted to be prepared in case one of the heroes, most likely Batman, found out about the very illegal and immoral stuff she does and went after her.
Lex killing the scientist was his way of letting her know that she is not in control of the situation and her breakdown is her way of asserting her control and dominance over the squad.
That's not waller, thats cere after she went to the dark side

The cutscenes are awesome, even Batman’s death could have been great if the context was better, sadly the gameplay kills most of the emotion

@@pickedceasar1216 To me the movement is fun but the enemies are generic and repetitive, every mission is the same, and the story really glosses over these major characters for it being most of their first times on screen in this universe and Batman’s gameplay just doesn’t really feel like you’re fighting him. I will disagree with a lot of the critics in one aspect though, I absolutely loved the flash’s fight scenes and boss battle, I don’t really understand all the gripes for and on that one
People like Waller with their cold hearted behavior in need of therapy usually always snap.

Amanda Waller as always had a hatred for anybody who goes against her because her humbled Origins were not so pleasant when some scumbags shot her husband and her family. And trust me the only time I was ever happy to see Amanda Waller is when somebody shot her at point-blank range. There are a lot of universes that I've seen where Amanda Waller has been shot in the head such as the arrowverse there's also been one where she lost all of her fat and she wanted a card so that when she dies she can bypass hell and go straight to heaven which that happened in the next DC Animated Universe. But there is one Universe where Amanda Waller never got away and also where she is part of an organization responsible for the death of 3 billion lives. Her appearance in my book will describe how she is responsible but she isn't the person rightfully responsible she was only part of it and her boss is somebody you don't ever want to mess with because he was from an Earth where his father was the unchallenged dictator of the world using religion as a superweapon and used manipulation to imprison both hero and villain. This new villain is going to show the current DC Universe what happens when you destroy somebody physically, mentally, and emotionally and how much disaster it brings. The villain is known as Wil-Zod son of Sara Lance and Pastor Michael Carter (The false prophet and Dictator of the World - Earth 8591)

@@zackwyatt169 I don't mind her as a voice actress but honestly she is just a self insert in most things she does. She has little to no range, atleast Troy Baker has good Range.
Since motion and facial capture are now the standard for animation in games with these big budget titles, it makes the job of the animators way easier if the facial structures of the characters are similar if not outright the same as the actors speaking. Also, I wouldnt be surprised if likeness rights are also now more of a thing for these games as they generate a following based on performance by leads.
