I received the "promo" offer to reserve a pair for $1.00 with the added bonus of being given a one free frame in addition to the whatever I might order but I PASSED. Two hundred dollars is just too much plus that offer had to be accepted in a very narrow time frame once it launched. I hated to pass it up but Soundcore is starting to turn into Sony or Bose as far as prices go. And I am still ticked off at the Q 30 launch only to have the Q 35 come along 5 months later. It would not surprise me if something similar happened with this product.

It does disappoint when items launch shortly after a product comes out...But in all fairness..It's not just Soundcore that dies this...I've had super expensive Dji products do the same, amongst other Name Brands.
Me too. I'm not even sold on the form factor let alone a particular brand. Can you adjust volume on the glasses themselves?? Most don't let you do that

What I wonder more is how they compare to the Ray Ban Stories, especially for the fact unlike these, the Stories come with a charging case, which is good for on the go charging, since you're likely on the go when out wearing sunglasses, so these having to be awkwardly anchored to a plug in charger, getting weird stares from people seeing you plugging in your glasses to a computer or a wall wart isn't ideal imo
I considered the stories but their camera is only a 5mb and is limited to 30 sec video. I agree these need a charging case like the stori

For me, these are a necessity due to developing an allergy from the charging contacts (most likely nickel plating) on in-ear earbuds. I get ear infections without fail every time I wear earbuds so these glasses are a great alternative.
