My truck was completely stock so there was a few extra obstacles. But all in all everything went well truck runs great!
@@xXJKIRK70Xx did you need to do a vane sensor relearn with a tech 2 or did it do it without needing a handheld?
@user-sb2uh7ke9z i took it to the chevy dealership the calibrated the new sensor for about $50 in oregon

What was the noise you had on the old turbo
I see your cat fuel filter, is your oem water separator unplugged? Does it give you any dtc codes. I want to run the black widow 95gph fuel pump but im wondering about disconnecting the fuel heater and water separator wires if i will throw a code
I put a CAT fuel filter on my LBZ the only thing that comes up is change fuel filter on the dash. If you want you could run a jump wire in the old connector and tape it up real well. I did not worry about my engine light never comes on for it.

Did you need to use a tech II for a cane sensor relearn? I’m installing a RDS on my LLY tomorrow. Heard it will relearn itself once the truck gets up to temp?
I am not sure if it will re-learn itself. I took it to a tuner. I think he did use a tech 2 actually.
Is this an OE replacement? Any particular reason for not going ahead and upgrading when you had to replace? New to the diesel deal and trying to plan my LB7 Burb swap.
Yes it is, I just didn't want to re tune my truck. No other reason than that! There are tons of great options for upgrades

I was told if I clear the relearn codes on my CTS3 it'll do the relearn by itself? Anyone know if that's true?
Dealer to relearn ? Doesn't it relearn itself by leaving key in run postiontion without starting 90 seconds .. ?

boutta replace the turbo on my Lbz van.. hoping all goes well
not 100% sure but you might be able to get better access from inside the van under the center console

What’s the vein sensor and why do you have to relearn it?
LB7 doesn't have that sensor! and it is a bit different on an LB7 but its definitely do-able!
