Yes and No. Yes this scene was great. John Ross is just like his father how he treats good women. No he won't see what he lost. I think that he will see what he help created. John Ross created a monster.
tommy2chips I wouldn't say he created the monster. She was always a business shark and conniving when she wanted to be. He just gave her a reason to go back to that. If he had just teamed with her from the beginning he probably wouldn't have been in the position he was in the end.
WRONG! John Ross is just like his father, but the writers screwed this whole thing up when they decided to make John Ross a cheater like his father. That crap just didn't work at all, and everything, and I didn't really like it. Of ALL of JR's qualities, why did they have to make him a cheater? That's just flat out wrong. John Ross is ruthless, and as for women the writers should have let John Ross make his own path. That's the reason why this show got cancelled.
Are you kidding me? John Ross and Pamela are BOTH business SHARKS! I mean, that's why I thought they made such a powerful couple in the first place. The writers screwed up this relationship, not him. Having John Ross being a cheater was just stupid. If the writers had given them a chance, they would have STILL ended up being married. Overall, this is NOT John Ross fault for the cheating, it's the WRITERS fault because they didn't write everything the right way. The writers should have NEVER ADDED that part about the affair with Emma. These two JUST got MARRIED! But I know somebody that knows more about soap operas more than the writers who wrote Season 3.
I have to give a shout out to Julie Gonzalo. She was incredible in this scene. Too bad the writers would rather give more airtime to the other younger actresses on the show who are way less talented and less interesting.
She is a good actress. But I want here to leave John Ross and take the Ewing /Barnes feud to another level. I never agreed with Pam and John Ross should be married.
tommy2chips I see where you are coming from and actually that would be a very interesting story-line. I would be up for it if the writers had the good sense to go there. But making them a couple also works in my in opinion because they could be a twisted modern day version of Romeo and Juliet where they were drawn to each other but family loyalties always threatened to tear them apart.
Tommy2chips, then you don't know what you are talking about. Pamela, and John Ross getting married was great. Let me ask you something? You got the middle child of JR Ewing, and first born child I thought was Pamela Barnes. I later found out it was Brad Stone, and everything. So she is the middle child so if the writers had any good sense, they would have given the couple a chance. But the writers didn't want to go there.
Bring Dallas back!
Only if Christopher is still alive and John Ross & Pamela end up together. And leave the damn Rylands out of it including Anne.
We "Dallas" fans should write the "Dallas" TV movie script ourselves.

What a great scene! I love that Pamela took charge of the meeting! Also, John Ross needed to see what he lost.

They could have been a super couple in the making, and would have taken over Dallas. The writers never gave their marriage a chance.
