I was curious why a 5 min dessert has a 12 min video. I just gave up. I can make traditional chocolate chip cookies in the same amount of time as this video.
LOL. It's really getting boring and stupid, all these 20 minutes long cooking videos that are already edited and title says 5 minutes. Everyone knows it's not 5 minutes, why the idiotic title?
Jesus watching them break the biscuits 2 at a time was probably the most triggering thing ive seen today like ffs man, take a rolling pin to the entire packet...few belts, job done! Also that dessert was more than 5 mins ffs 😂
Literally felt my arteries clogging up just watching this. 😂 Pretty miraculous how they can roll in a perfect square too. Clever bit of non baking though nonetheless and good for children's parties.
Maybe I’m missing something, but how can it be a 5 minute desert when after making the base it has to be refrigerated for an hour before the nut and chocolate topping is added

You could save some time and energy by putting the cookies in a plastic bag and whacking with a wooden spoon! This looks delicious and sounds like a recipe I made growing up of homemade fudge....I would also use roasted almonds or pecans....YUMMY! thank you for this inspiration!
Put the biscuits in a plastic bag and bash with a rolling pin! I make something called Tiffin which is very similar. I put Maltesers in for extra crunch but you can put dried fruit in as well.

What I hate is the fake headlines, it takes more than 5 minutes yet they continue to include bullshit titles. Tell the truth I would have thumbs up, instead you get a thumbs down. Just make a real headline not the lies, we get enough lies from the politicians we dont need it for cooking as well.
Note for Americans and other strange folk: vanilla sugar is powdered sugar mixed with ground-up vanilla bean. Vanilla extract can probably be used to emulate the flavor, but remember to include 10 grams or 0.35 ounces of powdered sugar
AND for those who are having weight issues you can use powdered monk fruit sugar. Its a natural product that does NOT go to fat in the body unlike refined sugar and tastes and looks EXACTLY like its refined cousin. As already mentioned, there are indeed better choices than sugar packed biscuits.

I imagine you can use condensed milk in place of the milk and sugar mixture - just heat it carefully if you have to. Also, I imagine it would be delicious made with Graham Crackers, too. Am gonna try this out someday.

Usually they are made from whole wheat flour, sugar, butter and a few other ingredients. Have you ever seen or eaten a store - made pie with a sort of light - brownish crust that is a bit crumbly ? Maybe a cream pie of some sort, especially. More than likely that crust would have been a Graham Cracker crust. It's more golden brown than a regular pie crust is. You can find the crusts in the area of your grocery store where your flour, cornmeal, and nuts are (that's where they are in my local stores, anyway). And you can find just the cookie/cracker on the cookie aisle of your grocery store. Store - bought Graham Cracker crusts are delicious, but, homemade ones are even better to me. Hope this all helps. 😉

Honestly, it only needed 2-3 biscuits being broken with a caption saying to break the required portion needed, . This happens a lot in so many cooking blogs where we are shown how to chop a whole onion, grate a whole carrot, etc. just bugs me. Sorry! Not watching in Auckland, New Zealand 😂😂
