Thanks for making such a great video. As Chinese herbalists we get taught a lot about the properties of the plants but don't get to see many actually growing or get a chance to experience what their Qi is like. This helps a lot!
I buy the root dried and chopped to small pieces, in bulk. A coffee grinder or blender will turn it into a powder that you easily mix into a drink or add to soup. This way nothing is wasted.
Thanks for you sharing this information. I enjoy your ease as you teach. I used astragalus in an anti viral mixture this past winter. This was the first winter I didn't get sick in several years. Again, I appreciate what you are doing.
Mr. Hollis, the first time I watched you on video was with Will Hooker and some students. I'm so happy I found your youtube channel, you are an inspiration. Thank you for sharing your knowledge.
Nice work, very helpful. I have these germinating in my home, will plant out in a UK allotment garden soon. The soil is clay-ey there, so knowing these need good drainage is very helpful. May add some lime as well. One more thumbs up, and a new subscriber. Thanks!
Thank you so much for the informative video! I am about to order seed to start our own Astragalus plants. We are working on building up our medicinal/herbal gardens, and this is one that is frequently used in our home. Definitely one I want to have. The video and information you gave is very helpful.
Mr. Hollis, thank you for sharing your knowledge. I enjoy your videos immensely. What ratio and what percentage would you recommend for tincturing dried Astralagus?
Joe. I do love your sincerity in what you do, Although you do not look to be in the best of health, Makes me question what you are selling me on. Scriptures tells us to use the herbs and spices for our benefit, I feel you are lacking in other areas of nutrition. I'm not being sarcastic, just concerned.
I’m just seeing him/this channel for the first time today, and I thought something might be wrong as well. No way of knowing, just a feeling. Not vibrant, for sure. I read he was 72 (lived to 80) but so is my brother. Maybe he was just a really chill guy. ALSO, I couldn’t help but notice the sun damage. Sunscreen is so important. 🌞 But thank you for sharing about astragalus, and I’ll go watch some more. RIP
This video emanates peace🌿🌿🌿

I don't know what you are seeing but to me Joe looks really good,
he looks healthy to me.
He was seventy-two in this video, and he looked quite older, possibly due to a limited diet. He managed to live until the age of eighty.
