  • We got our coop all put together this weekend. We had actually plans to build one but with our schedule, this was much easier and I didn’t want to miss our window to get chickens. We ordered this coop from Tractor Supply and it went together pretty easy. This was the biggest one we could get. I wanted to be able to access the hen boxes from the outside and a way to get in for easy cleanup. It has a storage underneath so that will make it nice for feed and shavings. Our summers get pretty hot so I was glad this coop has a vent plus shade for them. We are going to attach a shade cloth over the top. We also placed it so they can get out of the prevailing winds that we get here in Arizona. It does have the capability to add more panels if we want to make the run bigger. Another thing we did was add caulk to the roof pieces so it doesn’t leak down the road. I will let you know as time goes on how this coop holds up.
    Thanks for watching!

Awesome tour! I was just looking into this coop and just didn't feel I could see enough from the online photos. This really helped me better understand the size of this setup and whether or not it would fit my needs. Thank you!

You bet! Glad it helped you. It’s been a year since we set up the coop and we still love it.

Did you have to build this?

It comes in panels with all the hardware. I think originally they came in pieces and you had to put together each piece. It arrived on a large pallet.
