Total respect for that freezing spectacular dive you completed. The pain when the blood returns to fingers and toes and G.. knows what else!! is extreme. Well done one more time.
Hey Jonathan! Thank you for this great vlog! I've enjoyed it very much, especially when you mentioned your plans to travel here to Budapest. You will enjoy the warm cave after the cold waters of Plura. If you need information or assistance, feel free to ask. I cannot wait to watch a Blue World episode about Cave Molnár János and Budapest!
Good way to revaluate artic cave diving experience or any location really, however cold cave diving has the most extreme momentum and even less livelihood to get support or rescueing prespeed potential especially if you don't tell people, so they don't have to worry convienyence. Safety first and entirely as well. Really awesome examples for most lovers skill limits to have too identify such things of glad deepness strategy and lifestyling grace cultures. That's a really cool map of plura cave, on a t.v. screen style? People getting the location difficulty right and accurate as possible, even through sudden changes that might naturally happen, even fairly monitored by seasonal easyness and open mindedness. Great examples and follow ups continuing the potential facts of advanced tourism preparements and truth of prepared pre-dominance supports and fortunate style of involvement suggested. I haven't seen the document of such places yet. So these profigurations can prove a innocence grade and or deviation. I would suggest such places to go family diving only for advanced divers. Yes, that air pocket of that cave is somewhat kind of big. Finding any surface holes wouldn't be as surprising to allow of and point out at. Even updating the mapp security for future tourism tifficulty it might have naturally. Thanks camera man Todd and Jonathan Bird!
Epic Adventure! Did you find that the 3 finger mittens hampered your ability to manage your equipment (bolt snaps, valves, mask, etc) or was it manageable? I dive with dry gloves and sometimes find it difficult with some tasks. Keep up the great work!
I learned to dive in New England with three fingered mitts and I actually find them easier to use than dry gloves. The problem with dry gloves is that if you have enough insulation for them to work, you have zero dexterity. If you reduce the insulation in order to have dexterity, your hands freeze. I personally think the semi-dry mitts from Waterproof (the Swedish wetsuit company) are the best combination of dexterity and warmth, but they get compressed down deep and do not work as well.
after watching your episode i went to watch the documentary about them saving the lost souls back to surface and now im here. i can only imagine your loved ones weren't happy with you guys going there xD are you still allowed to go diving ? hehe or grounded for life ? ;)

Nice video! Next time when you are in Europe wellcome to dive in Finland. We have here cold and also dark water ...
You're not selling it very well!! LOL
It's good to see you again! 😊
Thanks!!
How do you prevent cold damage to your lips and other exposed areas of the face?
They go numb! SO far no long term damage!
I use Vaseline it's not 100% but it helps a lot.
I really enjoyed the episode and the documentary tells an amazing story.
Great to see the JJ CCR in your video.
Do you guys use DPVs in the caves?
Sami usually uses a DPV. We did not, we just swam. It's really hard to use a camera and a DPV at the same time.
Sounds like denso 35 butyl tape. Riser tape great idea for patching suits in the water

You see the same thing in Florida we wear similar drysuit insulation as you would see up in your area for recreational divers.
Ed said nah I think not lol 😅. Thanks you guys.🥰❤

My wife hasn't seen Diving into the Unknown! 😉
@@BlueWorldplus haha smart man xD
Can KISS sidewinder be in this kind of cold water ? I guess so !
The scrubbers will not go as long as warm water, but yes.
❤❤❤❤
Question
You Guys did a 120m dive on a Kiss rebreather?!! How?!
We didn't.
It’s 120m if you do the entire traverse.
😊😊😊
Have you asked Gus and Mike and Co.?
Yes. Mike couldn't go because of a conflict and Gus said "No thanks! Too cold!"
heheheheh too funny.... these guys are "warm water" divers...
