Marissa Balderas high in fish based protein and grains, I wouldn't say there is no nutritional value for them. I would almost bet that these are wild or free range ducks and get plenty of additional nutrients elsewhere as well.
Actually commercially available duck food and cheap dry cat food are pretty similar; both are corn based with animal byproducts and added vitamins. The protein is a little high for the ducks, but it's not the worst thing they could be eating.

It has high protein in cat food. Bread is what has no nutritional value for them. But that’s only based on what I’ve read.
