The Guitarist George Kooymans has the illness A.L.S. and that's why The Golden Earring had to stop abruptly and couldn't give a last concert them selves. The initiative 'De Earring & Ik' has been set up to create awareness and collect money for the A.L.S Foundation in The Netherlands.
