How airport baggage handlers handle your baggage

- Not as bad as some people but still, I'm sure a lot of fragile items would have broken from that tosser's tossing. (Not trying to be rude, just sounds cool xD)

Bruh this is some of the best handling ive seen
Agreed. And I’d rather they throw my bags around than wreck their backs. Not only because it’s humane, but the last thing we need is a shortage of bag handlers!! Flying is time consuming enough. Don’t pack fine china in your bag if you’re worried about it getting thrown around. He’s doing a great job while maintaining good form. Should get a promotion tbh.
Agreed, ryanair should hire that guy lol 😂
It is! It gets much much worse.
I was wondering when is he going to be throwing them 😂,but he did his best in my eyes...my cases have been ripped cracked, broken my kid stroller the lot....😂 But this man is so gentle!!💯
@@stepmothercity they have training and it's there job! Wow! He was a good one tho him.😊
He should be the employee of the month

Porque? Si ese es el trabajo para eso le pagan y no ver el teléfono porque esta trabajando deberían de multarlo o suspenderlo según los reglamentos y tampoco hay que tirar las maletas si no acentarlas sobre la carreta
Way better than united

I wish all bag handlers were like this guy. Great job in my opinion
Give the guy an award for careful handlings
This is among the most gentile I've ever seen a baggage handler handle luggage.
Just look at a japanese airport
He's actually doing great. Those are heavy baggages it could break his back. ❤
better than putting this heavy to a table which is higher than your chest for checking ..Think about old people
Heavy ? 55lbs ?😅😅😅😅
@@ronitopacite2707 Some of those luggage & checked in baggage not always as 50lbs or 23kg it can be more than that. Passenger can pay for over size & over weight fee, just so u know. And if ur doing it several times as a work for an 8hour shift you'll never understand how hard it is. 🤷

I agree!!! I DON'T KNOW WHAT DO WE EXPECT!!!! The handler is just doing it RIGHT!!!!!
Bullshit. I hope you're trolling. 😅
He is quite gentle❤
As a piece of luggage I can contest that was the smoothest handling iv ever had.
😄👍
Lol... ? This is actually some good handling.

@@muradfatima1231😂
This employee deserves an employee award for doing a great job handling the heavy luggage alone. Many handlers are worse.
he's way more gentle than my local post officer
Why?
Wonderful. Handled with tons of care. He deserve best employee of year.
You’re literally catching this dude doing EXACTLY what he’s supposed to be doing, give this man a raise!!
Looks like he's doing his job. Safety first rather than getting injured.
They gotta do that or they will throw their back out. Those are heavy. Can't lean over and put every bag down gently. Then you'll complain they are taking too long!
Trust me those bags are heavy and i work at the airport, dont throw bags doh just gotta know how to lift
👍🏽
@@momiami7974 So every bag is heavy on every flight?
@@davidsmiths5471 yes, the weight limit on bags is not for the airplane it is for us ground handling workers, yet you can simply pay a small amount to counteract that. ~25kg per bag, it isnt uncommon for regular Boeing 737 to have 2000 kg of luggage. Takes about 50 minutes to off load and load. On a 9 hour work day. Do the maths. Not an easy job and this is exemplary
Do you ever go to the gym? Those are some kind of lightwork. Those bags don't even weight a 100kg.
Dude, this isn't even that bad. This is actually quite good
Not everything can be cheep, fast and perfectly gentle all at the same time.
I think he's doing acceptably well considering no one wants to pay more or wait even longer at the baggage carousel. My bags bought at Wal-Mart 10 years ago are still in good functional condition after 10 + trips to Scotland from the United States to be with my daughter. Although admittedly I would never use my grandparents leather suit cases now a days. Remember when average people could afford a few nice high quality things that lasted for decades and were bought at Sears? If so your no longer a spring chicken either.
look how fast the baggages are coming out. no way they have time to accommodate every single bag perfectly
They need more worker not just 1 man who cant even lift some bags
@@jarenmontaos519523 kg bags coming out every 5 seconds, 2 people even needs to throw it
Exactly they need 2 people so it’s done right. This is bs that they wanna save money on and have 1 man do.
that’s why they should have 3 people maybe 💀 cuz they fucking destroying luggage’s, my parents always had this problem of luggage getting destroyed. because of exactly this, one time out suit case opened too.
@@joshuamartinez-hj3dnyeah and also the suitcases will not get destroyed
Man this is a heavy lifting job. You might get injured so props to him
Truth
As former baggage handler this is like the most gentle and caring you'll ever get lol. The down load is not the problem it's the up load we're they get thrown 40 ft the length of the plane to be stacked in a space as big as a crawl space, lol. Super fun. 👌
I’ve seen worse ones where they literally don’t care but this guy actually puts some effort to carry the luggage👏
That's the most gentle handler I've ever seen
Doing a splendid job.
Dude is efficient and fast!, get this guy a raise
He's very gentle and careful.
I don't see what the problem is. This ramp agent is doing a fantastic job🤙
He's doing great. I admire how baggage handlers are working outdoors in every type of extreme weather condition. I cannot imagine the severe heat or brutal cold, still tossing heavy bags over and over all day. It hurts my back just watching him.
No ramper spends all day on the ramp tossing heavy bags! There is always some sort of down time! And you might get 6 heavy bags out of a hundred!
@@davidsmiths5471as a current baggage handler I can tell you the majority or bags weigh a ton. Not to mention mail and cargo that we have to move within a strict timeline because right after we dump the bags and hook up the power, air, towbar and pushback tug we have to load the bags for the outbound flight too. Sometime during a 6-10 hour shift and even 16 hours of you’re working a double. Try it someday and tell me how light the bags are start sending in your applications.
You have never been a roofer.
@@therealwiseguy3747 Again you don't work constantly! There's alot of down time on the ramp! Example for you! Your done with your flight ready for push back crew needs more fuel! Please tell that your still working or all standing around??
The guy is doing a proper job
Wow he's handling them so smoothly
There is nothing wrong…you can’t expect him handling each luggage like a baby for eight long hrs
Looks pretty normal to me.
Bro needs an award for perfect throws💀
This guy can throw the baggage onto the cart and they still end up organized perfectly! Impressive!
Don't see any bags saying fragile on em. So all good
Just be glad your bag follows you. Fragile sticker is bate.
As a former baggage handler... certain airlines have strict deadlines for getting baggage from the plane to the terminal. For example, you might have 9 minutes to get priority bags off the plane and onto the baggage carousel or else the airline will penalise you. On a busy day, with managers panicking and unforeseen hold ups, it can get pretty messy. Yes, baggage handlers could take a lot more care with your bags, but be prepared to see that reflected in the price of your flight or wait times. This guy s doing alright.
How does the airline penalize you? And what happens if the baggage carousel is more then 9 minutes away?
@@davidsmiths5471 Hey, maybe "penalise" wasn't the correct term to use, but we'd get grief from our managers for being late, and they would get grief from the airline reps also, which would go against the company in future contracts I'd imagine. Regarding the 9 minutes, if all goes smoothly there would be no problem getting luggage to the carousel on time but sometimes unforeseen delays occur. Most airlines were fine but some of them were very particular, and delays in aviation are very expensive so people are always trying to ensure they're not to blame for those delays. That's my experience anyway, I worked for a bunch of cowboys so maybe other places have this stuff sussed
@@nialler78 I get all the that! But even you know if your ramp is delaying flights ,bags constantly your days are numbered! Didn't mean to come at you! I apologize if you thought that! Just tried of all these super ramper mentality on here!
I agree, did this job for 18years. When you run ABR you have connecting flights that are waiting on you to deliver their bags. Sometimes you can have multiple gates to stop at to drop off bags. I've loaded bags before during pushback. This is a fast paced job, and this guy seems to be separating his cities to bring to other flights ( ABR Runner) looks good to me.....
do handlers typically take care when handling luggage marked as "fragile"?
Now that’s totally the best spirit airlines been done
Most of the these luggages are at least 15kg. This guy is already super gentle with them…
Heaps better than those handlers at Melbourne Airport slamming bags
If you're bag can't handle a little toss like that, it can't handle you rolling it while running through the airport.

I would say the speed of that conveyor belt determines his quality of work.
Wow, very good handling 👏🏻 My bags from India were all ruined for the 3 consecutive years that I travelled to and fro 😂
Reason most bags get ruined is because they packed in too much and are extremely over weight
@@smooth2477 but for my case, I didn’t overpack. Didn’t need to pack much as I had homes at both countries. So I got eveything I need at both places 😊
Hope you know how bags from India are irregular 😅 most of them cartons full of cooked rice 🥱 Indian baggage bro 🙌🙌
this is the best I ever seen. if you go to Nepal. you will be trying to call police because it's broken and luggage with holes.
I like the accuracy. Especially the red bag, top bins right in the stanchion
Honestly, he's doing a lot better than average baggage handlers.
If they were super gentle with everyone's luggage, it would be like the episode on I Love Lucy. Lucy & Ethel getting backed up on the factory line eating & stuffing their shirts. This is appropriate, he's doing a great job & a good pace.
This things offloading some passengers they don't know what is the impact of the body to the employee. This just make a content to make them a story.Observe first before they make a content .This is a bad image for the staff if they are only making a conclusion if what they see
Well he cant go back and forth all the luggage would have been on the ground
Pulling his pants up and looking at his phone, this is by far the best baggage handler I’ve ever seen.
He seems much gentler than I expected. I want my baggage to be handled by this bro.
that was really soft handling from him. he could've thrown harder but that would put his back at jeopardy
That’s a good ramp worker. How’s he handling them bad? Also they are on a timeframe.
If only y’all could see how we treat y’all packages at the Amazon warehouse 😂😂
20KG X 100s X 8hr shift = shitty back pain. Appreciate the man.
P.S I hope this guy handles my luggage when I leave or someone like him!!
I was about to say he not doing bad at all
You should see what they do inside the luggage compartment! Imagine lifting those in a hurry while bent over on your knees trying to stack this stuff!
He s being very gentle!
This dude is doing great actually!
Looks good to me.
The precision of the throws is actually kinda cool
Bro has the nicest work by throwing the luggages
I got fragile items in my bags bubble wrapped and surrounded by my clothes. Unlikely to get broken.
Ramp agent is not an easy job, and they don't get paid much. They have to be fast doing that because they have to catch up with the passengers, no time for them to fix everything.
This is one person n he’s doing great, a lot of people don’t understand the time constraints of unloading and reloading a plane, so when it looks rushed it’s because it is. They don’t purposely try and damage your luggage
As a ramp agent this is good baggage handling. Those bags get heavy. And our backs will get thrown out easy.
Great job, nothing wrong with that
Nothing wrong there
make that guy president of the company, amazing job
He isn't doing a thing wrong. Honestly he's pretty precise on his "lighty toss placements." 😅
Nothing wrong with it 👍
Doing a great job 👏🏻
this is why every hard case luggage I get is cracked everytime I take off somewhere
He’s quite accurate with his throw.
Nothing bad
He is doing amazing. I wouldn’t be so gentle standing in the cold lifting those heavy things.
I wish they all handled the luggages like him.
Please don't overreact, I don't see anything wrong here so far he doing it accurately and none of the luggages fell down.
You can't control the luggages coming in front of you by yourself it runs continuously until it finish then that man goes to the next plane will arrive.
and those big luggages are heavy.
Lol this is not even bad. Probably quite a light load
95% of items kept in flight luggage are clean/dirty clothes, shoes and books. Do seriously think baggage handlers should treat bags full of clothes books and shoes like they are handling a new born baby? Please let the adults who are realistic run the show and just stay at home.
lol said it like an unemployed😂
its funny to see people who defend this type of behaviour.. if you don’t want to have these kind of jobs then do better in life.. dude is way more concerned on whats on his phone than doing his job.. I hope he got fired after this video..
@@fatesteyneit2990 These are luggage. It would be stupid to treat them like they were living objects. You can throw them around like they do at Amazon or any other freight warehousing workplace. That's how luggage is supposed to be handled! Bravo!

I was lucky enough to sit right under the baggege handling and it was surprisingly nuch smoother than I thought it would be, good job Ryanair
I dont see anything wrong
Rip if you have a pc iPad etc in their
Man, he needs to be the trainer for every airline.
I salute this man. He’s doing a wonderful job. He needs a raise
Kein leichter job..
This the most gentle handling luggage man I've ever seen😂
They have to do that because if he takes his time and calmly places it the flight might get delayed or he could risk all those bags falling from not grabbing it in time
I did that job years ago. We beat the shit out of luggage. He’s treating that luggage better than I, or anyone I worked with back then did.
Fun fact he is actually doing good
Could you imagine doing that all day? Exhausting!
They do that because you want to hurry your ass out of the plane when it lands. The aircraft hasn’t even made it to the gate, the jet ridge hasn’t even been moved close to the doors, attendants haven’t even disarmed the doors, and you are already standing up like meerkats to get out, and when you do get out, your bag hasn’t even arrived at the carousel.
It is better to remain seated until it’s your turn to get out, instead of crowding the Aisle and delaying deplane time. It’s infuriating.
For those of You who do that, you know yourselves.
That’s actually quite soft to Heathrow 😂, I worked there as a kid
This is actually quite impressive handling. He’s not out of control everything he’s done has been calculated and he gets those bags quickly where they need to be with as few of steps as possible and none of the bags looked like they took forces that exceeded their capabilities.
PS if you guys buy breakable souvenirs ship them home. Shipping has so many more options
