      Agreed. And I’d rather they throw my bags around than wreck their backs. Not only because it’s humane, but the last thing we need is a shortage of bag handlers!! Flying is time consuming enough. Don’t pack fine china in your bag if you’re worried about it getting thrown around. He’s doing a great job while maintaining good form. Should get a promotion tbh.

    As a former baggage handler... certain airlines have strict deadlines for getting baggage from the plane to the terminal. For example, you might have 9 minutes to get priority bags off the plane and onto the baggage carousel or else the airline will penalise you. On a busy day, with managers panicking and unforeseen hold ups, it can get pretty messy. Yes, baggage handlers could take a lot more care with your bags, but be prepared to see that reflected in the price of your flight or wait times. This guy s doing alright.

    • @davidsmiths5471

    • @nialler78
      @nialler78 11 месяцев назад +2

      @@davidsmiths5471 Hey, maybe "penalise" wasn't the correct term to use, but we'd get grief from our managers for being late, and they would get grief from the airline reps also, which would go against the company in future contracts I'd imagine. Regarding the 9 minutes, if all goes smoothly there would be no problem getting luggage to the carousel on time but sometimes unforeseen delays occur. Most airlines were fine but some of them were very particular, and delays in aviation are very expensive so people are always trying to ensure they're not to blame for those delays. That's my experience anyway, I worked for a bunch of cowboys so maybe other places have this stuff sussed

    Please don't overreact, I don't see anything wrong here so far he doing it accurately and none of the luggages fell down.
    You can't control the luggages coming in front of you by yourself it runs continuously until it finish then that man goes to the next plane will arrive.

    95% of items kept in flight luggage are clean/dirty clothes, shoes and books. Do seriously think baggage handlers should treat bags full of clothes books and shoes like they are handling a new born baby? Please let the adults who are realistic run the show and just stay at home.

      its funny to see people who defend this type of behaviour.. if you don’t want to have these kind of jobs then do better in life.. dude is way more concerned on whats on his phone than doing his job.. I hope he got fired after this video..

      @@fatesteyneit2990 These are luggage. It would be stupid to treat them like they were living objects. You can throw them around like they do at Amazon or any other freight warehousing workplace. Have you ever seen a real workplace like that? You sound like you've never had a real job before so you wouldn't have a clue about jobs like this😂

    They have to do that because if he takes his time and calmly places it the flight might get delayed or he could risk all those bags falling from not grabbing it in time

  • @benzeeable1

    They do that because you want to hurry your ass out of the plane when it lands. The aircraft hasn’t even made it to the gate, the jet ridge hasn’t even been moved close to the doors, attendants haven’t even disarmed the doors, and you are already standing up like meerkats to get out, and when you do get out, your bag hasn’t even arrived at the carousel.
    It is better to remain seated until it’s your turn to get out, instead of crowding the Aisle and delaying deplane time. It’s infuriating.
    For those of You who do that, you know yourselves.

    This is actually quite impressive handling. He’s not out of control everything he’s done has been calculated and he gets those bags quickly where they need to be with as few of steps as possible and none of the bags looked like they took forces that exceeded their capabilities.
    PS if you guys buy breakable souvenirs ship them home. Shipping has so many more options
