AM General (the actual manufacturers of the Hummer H1) are developing a hybrid electric Humvee for the military. It's entirely possible they will make a new Hummer H1 with a different name (GM owns the Hummer name)
Insane long but no enough room for passengers. Someone will have to redesign humvee small size engine and Radiators along with small Automatic gearbox to make cabin floor flat like Ev cars. Then redesign dashboard and panels for interior beautification. Then whole body needs to leanthen to make more legroom for passengers then it will be perfect suv.
I drive a Hummer wish they still made them I do not desire to own a electric vehicle of any type and never will my golf cart is electric and only because they didn’t have a gas at the time
Would trust GM or any manufacture to make a decent veh. They screwed up both hummers when they made the “civilian” version, an now the over weight EV version. The vehicles from the big three are overpriced, over blown JUNK.

GM need to make real Hummers again with hybrid powertrain or electric with range extender or power generator...
