First teacher that actually shows a slow break down of this song. With perfect close ups and instructions of the picking. For a beginner this is the only video on you tube that I could learn off.
I learnt a lot from Andy , step by step teaching is very effective and I m able to play this song now but singing together with the finger picking is still not easy . Thank you Andy .
I agree he is more detail oriented and slowed down which is helpful but he kinda over explained the dropping down to the9 fret stuff getting on my nerves a wee bit

Putting your thumb and 1st finger together like as if u r holding a needle and strum down and up, it’s easier and will have fuller tone . I tried n it works.

You have a string slap/picking style to your right hand which is what I want to learn. Can you teach us how to slap the strings as I am having trouble with this. Thanks

Andy I'm really sorry but your going too fast for me. I'm trying to do the first two notes but by the time I see where your fingers are you've moved on I need to slowly pluck the 3 strings with the first note then 2nd can you do a really slow video for a beginner. My fingers are hurting 😫
You have a nice voice yes but if you direct us by showing where the finger placement has to be then you could talk less the whole thing would oh yes be much easier for dumb me

Sorry spending too much time unnecessarily. In place of 10min just 1 minute is ok to show the exact playing.
Then watch the short I made on this video instead. Stop watching long form videos if you want 1 min tutorials, just watch shorts/ tiktok
