it sucks that he doesn't have the same vocal control and power that the producers make it seem like he does in the studio versions
He does, it's just they changed the key for this to make it sound a little different. When I play this I like to play it in this key because it sounds better live like that
Sounds like they are 1 step down ok guitar, so it's going to be lower on vocals. It's something I see many touring vocalist do to save their voice enough to make it through the tour, or make a song manageable when the voice is getting roughed up by such touring. This may explain what's going on here.

I feel like they weren't really trying with their vocals on this song. And the pitch is too low. I feel like it would've been better if they did the original pitch of the song
why can't I hear the bass properly.... maybe a little more volume could have binded the songs so nicely.... look at three days grace unplugged lives ... we can easily make out the bass :-(
