Love, love, love the "mermaid trash"! Your videos are so relaxing for me to watch. I wish I lived on a coastline so I could gather up the goodies to make stuff!

Try inspiring. I recently made some small Christmas trees out of bits of driftwood I collected from the beach. The art your create has such a beautiful and natural look

Thank you so much! I have a ton of driftwood too and I was thinking of making a larger tree out of them.

I just found you and love your stuff!! I looked all through your channel for some tutorial on using resin and didnt find. I have wanted to use resin for several years now but all the warnings scared me. I have it sitting on my shelf and am afraid to mix it up. I even bought one of those fancy masks….i notice you use it with ease. Can you tell me how you do it? You’ve had no health issues? I am 74, in excellent health and still with a sound mind. I think with a little help I could get going with resin. Thank you so much.. sorry for long post but I looked for your email and could not find it.😀😀😀

Don't be afraid to use it! I do not wear a respirator, but many people do. I have excellent ventilation in my studio, which I feel is important if not using a mask. It is personal preference I think, but it does depend on the brand of resin. Some have strong odors and others do not. I do wear gloves. No issues at all, but everyone is different! I don't have a specific video on mixing and using resin, but there are LOADS of videos on YT that do an excellent job of teaching the basics. Welcome to the Magnolia family!

Perhaps a soft paint brush would be better to apply the modpodge. It would prevent pooling in the shells and get between and under the shells helping them to stick to each other.

Left side almost to the top. Put a ruler or straight edge along the side and you should see it. Missing a shell.
