Wow...his voice was shot at this point. You could hear his voice cracking and quivering while he was talking before the song.

Actually i talked to their tech. He does use some lip syncing, but not for the whole show. You do gotta remember they tour a lot and he doesn't wanna murder his voice.

You know.. it's sad that as i scroll through the comments that this one is marked as spam.... I agree with you 100% thats why i stopped listening to rap. switched to rock and metal but not the cursing kind. Skillet, Flyleaf, Red, Underoath and other Christian bands too

What John is talking about isn't just religion... Buddhism is religion, Taoism is religion, Believing in the Christ is Faith. And follow rules? nah they are guidelines on how to live. All that needs to be done is Believe in Christ, believe He died for your sins, and repent for your sins.. I wouldn't really call those rules...

John's voice is starting to crack i think he should take a break for a little bit and rest up, if you've been to their earlier concerts they sounded a lot better. i still think that they sound good though
YIKES. I think John needs to give his voice a rest...he's been getting hoarser and hoarser since the Comatose Tour...they still rock though :)

You sound just like lc061084 when you say "99% of the garbage in mainstream rock"... I would beg-to-differ that the vast majority of mainstream rock is no different than Skillet; from religious views to the types of real life problems their songs talk about.
"People who try to tell you how to think, how to dress..." Doesn't he do this right now?:DDD wearing that mainstream shit clothes and preaching about god... yeah right... but fortunately their music is great... and all these stuff that he said except the god part... Corey already said in a brilliant song called: Surfacing ^^
i'm seeing them with stone sour wednesday....i hope he doesn't do this preachy religious BS, because i'll have no issue walking out of the building for the entirety of their set. I am not religious, i don't believe in "god", and I don't want some rock "star" talking about the bible. I didn't pay to hear that, I paid to hear music. In the words of the late great George Carlin "The Eleventh Commandment: Keep thy religion to thyself"
