Song notes: Their version of "Surf Rider" has about half of "Mr. Moto" by the Belairs mixed in. "Banzai Pipeline" is the best surf instrumental that Henry Mancini ever wrote. I always though the descending notes portion of the main riffs in "In-A-Gadda-Da-Vida" and "Sunshine Of Your Love" were similar, so bravo for this band to figure out a way to link those two up seamlessly.
Their version of Banzai Pipeline is a master class in cool. Nicole lays down some killer licks with precision and clarity, while Shermy plays a menacing rhythm part. Sarah lays down a slick bass line. Check out Tom Conlon's RUclips to get a excellent look at it in detail.
