Mine was flashing and then at about 30-50% it would get caught in a reboot cycle. Wasn't worth much at that point. Battery would run down from 100% to less than 50 I about a half an hour. Much happier now.
Actually, never mind my last comment. I followed your advice of using a flat tool and was able to get it off. I was trying to use this curved thing that New Power 99 sent me. Does not work well at all. I ended up using a butterknife and had much more success.
My husband was having the same issue like you said getting to 33%. He bought his brand new and was having to issue. So we called Samsung and sent it to them. They replaced the battery and set a new power cord. Was still having the same issue call them and let them know had to resend. Haven't had an issue since

I have a Samsung Note Pro 12.2, so basically the same as yours but just with a stylus. I am trying to replace the battery right now but I CANNOT get that damn back cover off. It is very difficult to get underneath it and pry it away from the tablet. If you have any easy tips for this, I am open to hearing them!

i have a question if you don't mind... does samsung make replacable batteries about this tablet and i can replace it myselfe or am i forced to by a third party battery if samsung doesn't sell it, demanding me to send it to them for service? and if i am forced to buy a third party one , are they safe to charge while using because as you know they get heated while charging during usage and as i heard they can also explode? And can you also recomend me a third party battery for this tablet if you know something about them. thanks for the video btw.

James J of course ...they use power outlet not battery thats why they have very high ppi. they could also make tab pro 4k i guess but it would require a very heavy battery and you could barelly use it as a tablet then due to it's weight. you've probably seen the panasonic 4k tablet. its ginormous and extremely heavy. however i like the idea of using a very big tv as a 4k monitor and then also use it as a smsart tv with your pc. after all its much faster that way than surfing it with tv native browsers and stuff. i personally dumped windows since i first owned an android tablet on 2008 or something cause today android has much more capabilities of doing things ,maybe because of apps and and it is more simple, has 100% less lag and you can find apps for almost everything, it is connectable with almost everything ,it makes android a perfect platform. and afterall i think android is the future from now on. i guess you had to connect it to windows cause it is the only way to have 4k isn't it? :) i envy you now for watching 4k content. i think i'm gonna connect my tab with a sony 4k tv although the tab goes max to 2k. and still i'm not even sure if this hdmi of mine goes beyound 1080p... :p
