@@timrault RUclips and Google are the top search engines on the web. If someone is searching for something they are using one of these 2 in higher rates than any other websites. RUclips videos can show up in Google results.
You stack the odds on your favor by having videos that can be searched on both RUclips and Google search engines
If the video gets a ton of plays on RUclips, some of those views could send people to your beat store to purchase the beat.

Crazy inspirational ♥️🙏🏼 amazing how much money you can make from dedication and passion. I've been uploading for about a year and a half but the consistency isn't a beat a day that's for sure. Made a sale in may and had someone interested in getting stems recently. My main thing is I don't stick to a particular artist or genre I love havin flexibility with what I make perhaps leaving some discovery on the table that way! Food for thought!

Thanks for this man. Really inspired. Do you have a take on making beats more personal to the producer brand in comparison to uploading type beats designed to attract rappers? For example, I make thumbnails that are abstract representations of my music. Should I just put the face of a popular artist as the thumbnail like most artists do?

I guess I would say leverage the artists to build your own brand, everyone makes a Kanye type beat different imo.

How often were you posting on your YT and Beat stars? Was that both every day? Or was it beat stars first because of the money and then YT after ? But in all dope to see! Hoping to try and implement a few things with my artist now.
I would just take the same beat, upload it to beatstars and then post to youtube and link back to my store. So both, tbh I probably posted 300-320 times in a year

I dropped one a few days ago that go a 2:30 watch time on a 3:10 video. It probably takes 1:50 to 2:10 to blow up, sometimes less, sometimes it'll have a 2:30 watch time and not blow though, you never know

Was it youtube videos which converted best to sales of Beatstars. It is good to hear impossible is possible but Im interested how this happened.
Yeah I could get more in depth, maybe I’ll do a super long video where I really explain everything. I had to package this one up in a way that was fast paced and entertaining. At first RUclips drove 90% of traffic and sales, now it’s prob 60% RUclips 40% Beatstars

I have been uploading daily on RUclips for 3 years this May. Not a sale yet, but starting to understand things, but mainly enjoying the ride and having fun making music (my passion i found out at 33 years old). Thanks for this video.
Interesting, you should have some sales by now. Maybe switch up your beat style or keywords. You got this though! Keep learning and keep pivoting until you find something that works
You need better thumbnails (not too much but not too less & of the same theme), better key words (high search volume but lower competition), & you need to pick one specific type beat and dominate/grow in that lane. But you got consistency down, just gotta fix those other three my friend.

@@djsunnysideup23 I’d say upload any genre you please to a beat store or website, but for RUclips if you continue to do a random beat every video - every couple videos the algorithm can’t find you a target audience which can destroy your growth, for example…if someone listens to your 21 savage type beat and enjoys it they’ll come to your Chanel looking for other beats similar to that style/sound, but if they see no consistency in that sound for your channel, they will be less likely to sub because 8they came to your channel looking for other content, that’s why it’s better to stick to one lane
When it comes to marketing,(example) you can’t advertise mc Donald’s and turn around and sell Wendy’s, it breaks your target audience

Tags aren’t very important anymore in my opinion. Title and thumbnail and beat quality are the three most important things.
That being said if you post the best Drake type beat of all time with a fire thumbnail, it probably won’t ever be found, you need to be strategic
so i have a video up with 25k views and everyone is saying the beat is fire but i haven't got a sale from it yet. The beat is listed for $50 lease
