I tried with my PowerShot SX530HS to install the 100c firmware, which is apparently not supported (?). I think the tables are out of date, since I tried the ACID tool as well, and it was unable to fetch tables for the CHDK branches.
ACID found the DE tables, and I could get the CHDK-DE packages, but I don't speak German.
I was able to find the correct firmware myself though.
So with I tried the procedure described by the STICK dev for unsupported builds
I renamed the zip as instructed, test100c zip, moved it into the STICK folder,
aaaand I'm getting nothing. STICK never gets past step 1.
Anyone have this problem or know what I'm missing?

I was unable to install CHDK in Windows 10, also didn't even bother to try it on my very recent mac (m1) as macs cannot even write on FAT-drives. I was unable to run stickx.cmd, it just does nothing, cmd-window flashes very fast but nothing launches. If I start the .jar-file with "java -jar stick.jar" command it will not be able to detect my sd-card.. just says it is unknown. I tried 3 different SD-cards (all sdhc, 4GB, 16GB and 32GB) and same thing with every card. I have no idea WHY the stickx.cmd doesn't run... This was really frustrating experience.

Have you installed Java? If so, I recommend trying to open directly from the JAR file.
