I think you were right in saying that you could have played one more spell in that first game. You were one damage short when the Song of Creation trigger resolved, and had you played one more spell you would have an additional storm count before the Song trigger resolved, killing your opponent before the trigger forced you to lose.
I've been a believer of Perilous Iteration for a couple of weeks now. Been running a Jund Midrange deck with it (courtesy of Takobyte), and holy crap has it over-performed. It's so good, even if you don't build around turning it into a tutor like Crokeyz has. Reminds me so much of Expressive Iteration.
About 9:20 - what you said was correct though. If you’re cast one more spell before grapeshot you would’ve had one more storm trigger that resolves before song trigger so you’d have won regardless
@@marklieberman1527 yes but since the original grapshot couldn't resolve it would be the same damage: 18 storm damage + 1 original spell damage = 19 damage. 19 damage + 1 storm damage - 1 original spell damage is still 19 damage.
There’s another version I made like this but u draw your whole deck and then play glint horn buccaneer and kill them with dmg. You can also use the bird wizard that summons p9 to get infinite turns and dmg.
No, probably a partnership with WOTC for educational content for arena, or their editor wants to boost the video output to work with RUclips’s algorithm
He's not really boosting the video output. He could just post more from the stream. I'm more inclined to believe that he wants to spend more time with Oliver and that these videos are less time-consuming to produce.

These videos are just brilliant. I can actually imagine you doing voiceovers for natural history programmes.

Thats cool to see a turn II goblins doing its thing. I'm glad we have Pionear (spelt this way over Pioneer)
Dang, that deck is amazing. Hope you make more videos with it.

Professor Crokeyz best Crokeyz!

this deck is so much fun! i bricked with the combo and had to win with ornithopters equipped with bone saws xd
Looking forward to the gobs!
Ah I just love Historic all the combo nonsense is just right up my alley xD
This is my favorite crokeyz
You could have done what you said to do in Game 1, since the Stork Count would have been 1 higher
It would not have increased the damage though because the original grapeshot couldn't have resolved before he mills himself out.
@@dooropener there wouldve been an additional storm trigger that would have killed before song trigger, no?
@@marklieberman1527 yeah but in that case the damage is still the same (before dying) so they would have survived on 20

why is this deck not listed in your untapped account?
Hmm. What does this deck do, if the opponent plays one Thalia?
I run a Incubation druid deck with song of creation and underworld breach. Potencial combo by turn 3.
Mana Confluence is a must in this deck, it's better than a painland most of the time in a deck like thi.s.
This is mental.
steven without chat is a very different vibe, i do enjoy both but it's kind of funny
I thought he started doing RUclips videos separately
The first opponent’s dog pet whining with every grape shot was emotionally painful to hear.
I dont think Lurrus is "quite likely to be a thoughtseize deck", the most powerful lurrus deck being hammer (then obviously artifacts w/metatect etc)

I have to ask... Did Crokeyz get banned from Twitch? 🤔 Third video in a row without chat. 🤷🏼♂️
No, probably a partnership with WOTC for educational content for arena, or their editor wants to boost the video output to work with RUclips’s algorithm
The answer is actually that crokeyz is recording videos off stream to post on RUclips and increase his content range.

Best format on arena.
Historic just looks... extremely awful. Every single deck you faced looks unfun to play against
Bo3 is much better than this. Combo decks are held in check by Sideboards pretty well at the moment.
Its the best
Go play explorer and have fun facing greasefang, mono g ramp and mono blue spirits. Historic is best format
It's awful in BO1, every deck is a turn 2/3 combo deck. BO3 meta runs a lot more midrange friendly.

Kind of a shame Thassa's Oracle is banned (otherwise it would ensure mill / life gain doesnt deck you as their wincon)

Historic is actually unfun. Explorer is the vastly superior format.
Just having to click 19 times on opponent tells me how shitty historic is
