200 trees to be planted in cities impacted by low air quality

CBS News Colorado Reporter Jasmine Arenas spoke with a climate justice director who explained how two organizations are working together to plan trees throughout the metro area's income areas and discussed the benefits behind it.

The trees will never make it half of them if not all will die because Colorado is known for planting trees with wire wrapped around the base of the tree and a stick supporting the tree. The thing is those nobody ever comes and remove the wire or the stick as a tree gets bigger, and the wire starts cutting through the tree as it grows, and eventually kills the tree, I’ve seen this happen all over Colorado where the top of the trees are dead because the wire went completely through them or even the whole tree is dead because the wire was down at the base

Just plant trees, if they die, get paid to plant tree……
