He started late in the seiyuu industry after lot of setbacks but after his awesome role as Subaru , he got his breakthrough and has been source of inspiration to many struggling in their careers to come forward.
I absolutely love Kobayashi Yuusuke’s voice acting and always wondered why he didn’t have many main character roles before. Now after watching this I almost shed a tear and I feel so happy for him. He’s doing amazing now.
Don’t forget Subaru. Man I cried when he he was talking about self loathing and how he is useless and also I cried when he met his parents again. Kobayashi San is amazing
He had a dream and he successed in achieving it despite many setbacks. He recently got the crunchyroll awards for best voice actor in re zero s2 .it was his years of hardworking that made his work top notch
His best scenes in Re zero are in Season2 episode 4 and episode 8.Episode 4 is especially for all the guys out there who feel the worth of a loving family
@@sanjaimathewmampala4904 yeah you're right I was watching re zero s2 yesterday It's emotional and awesome beyond compare 😭 I liked the scene where Emilia and Subaru kissed
Yes, i think it's confirmed in his radio with Ishigami Shizuka when they invited Matsuoka. Kobayashi also talk about how he lost to Matsuoka in the "Food Wars" audition.
WOW when I started Dr. Stone I remember thinking Yoshitsugou was voicing Senku so I can totally see what they mean about their voices being similar. Now Senku and Souma are my favorite protagonists ✨
He’s one of my favorite seiyuus out there. Just listening to his voice just calms me down. I’m glad he became a seiyuu! He doesn’t know how just one voice he has just gives all of us happiness and inspiration
First noticed this guy when he was voicing Arslan, since then following almost all of his works. Trully a great man, a great seiyuu. His life story remind me of that seiyuu character in the Shirobako anime, where she struggle and struggle so hard, working multiple part time jobs just to support her seiyuu dream & almost given up on anime until she finally landed a role in a anime that her friends made.
I relate to him so much ! The call center part, the stress of approching your thirties, our parents.. he's giving me hope that I can follow my dreams no matter how old I am !
I felt that when he told how hard to face his parents, how painful it is to be there but no being there for parents who give their time, their energy, their sweat, they sacrifice for a mob person like me. If I can gone and make their life less miserable I'd do it, I'd go away with nothing and give them everything if I make it.
Thank you for the translation and upload! Seiyuu definitely go through a lot of struggle and it’s so uplifting when their efforts are rewarded. Good for you, KobaYuu!
Wow, this is so inspiring. Like with all dreams, you will really have to struggle first. There's no easy way to success. What probably makes a success more satisfying in the end is how painful and hard it is. Thank you so much Mr. Kobayashi Yuusuke for never giving up your dreams so that we can have a thorough enjoyment in watching Dr. Stone and Re:Zero! Wishing more projects for you in the future and more people will be inspired with this video!
I really love these inspirational stories of seiyuus. Somehow, it gives me a little hope once in a while. The hope doesn't last. But at least, for a small period of time, I can believe in myself.
He inspired me a lot. Im getting older...im 21. Ik its still young to most people, but i dont feel like getting younger. I cant see a bright future yet so i have to find a way in which i could direct my life to where i want or wish to be instead of following my parents words. Mr. Kobayashi gave me another set of motivation in life to never give up and always look for a different angle in life if you feel like failing in this one.
So inspiring ... I dont know if I ever have a dream, but its never too late to think about it right now, I guess ... And in 5:19 I believe its matsuoka yoshitsugu for the role of kirito in sword art online, Yusuke really has a strong heart, seeing the performance of a person he lose to, and realize that he can still improve, Is the reason for his success today ...
These kinds of stories make me rethink a lot of stuff. Being the one who's right now standing on this turning point of "what I really want to do?" and "what am I willing to sacrifice?". It really helps to find the right answer. Thank you, Yuuske. Thanks, koemonogatari-sama! P.S. If anyone didn't know: Matchan is the one who became the role model for Yuuske. It's about him Yuuske was talking in the video)
Just want to add a bit more of the story to the original comment. The character that they competed for, and Yuusuke was amazed by after watching Tgtg's performance on TV, is Kirito from SAO. And some time has passed, they have talked about it openly and have become very good friends (first name basis). One of their most interesting private stories last year was that Tgtg got drunk, Yuusuke brought him home and they (attempted to) watched the full 1st season of SAO, but Tgtg fell asleep halfway. It first seemed funny to me, but after looking back on what both of them had been through around this time, it just added another level of "emo-sa" to it.
I can totally relate to him! I did a career change at 28 just like him (from a regular office worker in a digital advertising company to being a full time seamstress). It was hard and I doubted myself a lot back then because that change means I lost the monthly paycheck security, but it was the best decision ever! Now I’m living the best of my life making stuff for customers who also appreciate me as a crafter 😺
I watched this video from time to time just to motivate and tell myself that its not too late just keep chasing your dream yeah Yukke!!! So talented, so kind and so cute!!!
He has been my precious child and such an inspiration since he gave life to Arslan and i knew it was hard to him to get in the seiyu industry but my heart just broke when he said he felt terrible for his parents while showing that painful expression couse i know how hard it can be. He's so talented and a charming guy ✨ I'm happy he didn't give up
I can totally relate to koboyashi-san because I want to move to L.A. to become a voice actor and I feel miserable at my job and voice acting seems alot of fun to me. This video really motivated me to finish college and move out ro L.A. to make my dreams of becoming a voice actor happen once and for all.
well fk, now I want to be a seiyuu, and now it almost feels like I could being frank, i probably just want to meet them. That's all. And that's fairly unlikely

The things that dropped his motivation and dreams was SAO but it's also the one who rose it.
