For people who don't understand why we blackout boots. We have to if we plan to change sponsors when the contract is near expiry or we have a new model yet to be released to the world and we wear them as to see how they feel so we can tell adidas/nike/puma if we want to change our current models to the new ones. There is a purpose for everything.

you can do this for cheaper with a black leather dye kit,thats all this blackout thing is that costs €40 but if you bought a white leather dye kit could you do that to your boots too and make them whiteouts? maybe one black and one white?

They look smart af. I realised a couple of years ago that you'll look way better in black-outs than bright af boots.

If you want to do that you have too much money just customise them online instead

if youre going for superflys my advice is go for black ive got 2 pairs one is mainly black with red round the tick and the others are the world cup ones and the bright colours start to fade but the black hasnt

i think it looks bad after blackout the pink and black was perfect
how do you dye the sole plate without it coming off because mine keeps coming off. I first tried dye then went to spray paint and both couldn't really help

what kind of acids are those? (step 1 & 3). If I don't have that kind of acid, can I change that with another material? Thankyou

+Brine Alam Tough to say, the paint may not completely absorb in to the FlyKnit, if you can I would recommend just painting the Nikeskin layer :)

I would not recommend doing this to the boot, it looks great granted that, but the touch on it is going to change and feel inconsistent and also the weight added to the boot from the dye will be there.

+rageNasian Great comment. Yes the Academy Pack (BlackOut) Vapors were available for a time but we decided to black out the leather vapors as they are a more premium product.

+FIFA funny moments you can't get black leather Vapor. Only synthetic. This also applies to any boots, perhaps you want a change of color, or your academy asks you to wear black boots

Because maybe you buy a new pair and then the high school team says you need black boots but by then you can not take your boots back to the store because you have had them for a month and you can not get a new pair so you need to do this.
I don't think it's necessary to apply the dye to entire part of the boots because, you know, they're already black. Wouldn't it be better if you cover the black part with tape and apply the dye to the pink part only?
Oh, and I think it would look better if you leave the swoosh logo on the tongue and the ACC logo as they are.

The dye should stay in all conditions, the gloss may wear off over time
Can this work on the superfly 4 tech craft in canvas/volt colorway? Or can you not dye the leather?
