Beautiful property. Somebody who is willing to roll the dice re: High tide (insurance), getting along with the neighbor, building codes as far as further development (adding bedrooms) could really make something of this property. GLWTS! I doubt it will be on the market very long.
Good luck getting insurance that looks like in about 5 years it's going to be a problem. High tide comes right up to the grass which means during a storm it's going over. Hard pass for me
It's a beautiful property, but it seems really odd that the main house has only one bedroom and three full baths. You mentioned how great the fenced yard was for kids and dogs, but where are those kids going to sleep?
You don't even want to see what Maine lake camps sold for precovid . 😁 Who knew it was going to get that crazy ? No one did until it happened . People from Boston were buying lake camps sight unseen like crazy and prices just doubled in a matter of months
@@jameskostaras4778 psssh tell me about it. They went for a fraction of what they go for now. And though the views and updates are great on this, it's about $150K over what it should be for this market.
It's great! Unfortunately, it's also a little too close to the high tide line, and it's also a bit strange to have that many bathrooms for a 1 bedroom. Despite my love of coastal properties, I think it's priced 2 high. I think the wild card is not knowing what the highest tide line looks like in a bad storm on a full moon. We had 3 hundred year storms within weeks of each other that damaged structures nobody ever thought about. That's too much money to roll the dice with.
I have been thinking about maine but i don't know if that will be a good fit for myself the waterfront doesn't matter thats just a way someone can sneek into the property
The boathouse and camper is going to make this property a tougher sell. As a buyer you have to assume that someone stays in the camper, a negative imo. There also seems to be a lot of items sitting by the garage on the side of the road. Too bad it wasn’t neater and more kept up looking. The property has gorgeous views and I really like how close it is to that beautiful beach. Like you said if the boathouse bothers you then this property is not for you.
Complain about the boats and boat house? Dang. That's the flavor and the history but I 'm a homesick coastal Mainer. I love this property. Thanks for the tour.
maine properties like this, the price is getting crazier .... better to get those woodland area or farm lots in this state which is affordable and low tax .... only the bugs keeps me hating it as well
I want it. But I’ve already donated so much $$ to climate change, if I buy a coastal property, I’m going to look like an idiot. I’m too far in at this point.
This is what I've always been looking for. But, there is no way i could ever afford it. If you find someone that buys it, can you put in a stipulation that i can come and visit? Just to sit out on my beach chair and feed the gulls.
What crash ...feds are going to be lowering interest rates so mortgage rates will be lower and more people are going to buy where they have been waiting on the side lines .
I love it when people buy property near rail road tracks then complain about train noise. Buy near an airport, you are sure to get airplane noise. Buy near a cattle farm and complain about the smell of manure. Guess what. Buy along the coast, there is bound to be boats around. What the heck people? City folk need not apply.
So whoever buys this property has to deal with a trailer parked next to the house and sharing your driveway to move it and some random boat house that uses the same well as your new $888,000 home? no thanks.
The house is absolutely stunning. And so are the views. Thanks for showing this gem.
Glad you enjoyed it

It sold in 2020 for $422k.
It’s a 1 bedroom house for 888k?!? Yowza! (Minus a small apt above the garage)

Gorgeous but the wind, cold, tides, potential for encroachment make this a hard sell. Beautiful view though.

Wow the outside of the house wasn't good but the inside blew my mind
GREAT HOUSE

That structure is dangerously close to high tide line . Nice place though
*United Country Lifestyle Properties of Maine* Right on the ocean beautiful, thank-you sir for taking the time to show us around. GOD Bless.

Heck with these out of staters buying and jacking up Maine real estate prices. MASS HOLES!!!
Don’t worry. Nh here and yes Jack up those prices so we can sell
is $5600 taxes based on the $888,000 sale price? or the $422,000 price 4 years ago?
I wish I had the money
Lots of Luck…
Maybe if boathouse was included….maybe…..
Ouch!
Jonesport? I'll bet the spring tide range is about 22 feet.

Anyone have a great Real Estate Lawyer in this Area? I am in New York looking to relocate
Nice place but....Can't even walk the surf up to your ankles without you feet going numb from the ice water...No thanks.
That's a lot of lettuce

SOLD if they will take 750K
Holly shit. Why so much?
Wood panel walls but they decided to use really cheap laminate flooring that’s already peeling off in several places.
Dared to find another,… Hold my Beer, Found dozens elsewhere Ocean Front Bigger better Cheaper , more land With Docks etc all over Maine… 😂😂😂😂😂😂😂
Nice property Spencer.
Probably most beautiful house of the year. I'll continue to Dream.

I will wait for the crash but still a bargain compared to long island oceanfront!
What crash ...feds are going to be lowering interest rates so mortgage rates will be lower and more people are going to buy where they have been waiting on the side lines .
Amen!
Dare i say, ocean front property with near freezing artic water? Obviously not Arizona. Lol
Not much ocean front in Arizona

Greedy greedy
joke of a price
Beautiful property, but even Maine prices have gone off the charts ridiculous. Two years ago this was a $500K max property.
More like 69k
@@jeannedouglas9912 not ocean front. Houses have doubled in 2024. But yes it's bad.
422k in 2020
