Kanazawa in snow, how beautiful! I've just visited a month ago and enjoyed the view with cherry blossom trees. I'd like to visit there once again in winter...
Your number one reason to visit Kanazawa is Shirakawago, an attraction that’s not even in Ishikawa? Visit Kanazawa to visit Kanazawa. It has a lot more to offer than what you said here.
SOLD! I'll go next Autumn if international travel bans are lifted by then. I'd like to see more videos online about where to go to see really gorgeous villages in the middle of winter. Many onsen towns that I've found are simply that: onsen towns with not much to do at night or during the day. I'd love to find somewhere that looks like a magical postcard in the middle of winter with lots of snow covered trees and gorgeous landscape, but also has an area which includes shops, places to eat, little museums etc. If anybody has any suggestions, I'd love to read them. Thank you! And thank you for this lovely video. :)
May i know...during which month was this shot? We are planning to Kanazawa in February next year, hoping that we can encounter those thick snow too. Great video 👍
You are in luck! This was shot around early February so there's a high chance you will experience this too! We stayed for 2 nights in Kanazawa and on the first day there was very little snow around, however on the second day we got very lucky and snow started falling which was truly magical. How long are you staying in Kanazawa for?
@@nikkoworldtravels7806 thanks for the response. Probably it's going to be just 2D1N. Gonna head go to Shirakawago for its yearly Illumination event. Cannot wait 😀

When would snow fall starts in Kanazawa in December?
that's what I want o know too
Nice vlog, as Kanazawa is indeed a lovely prefecture as well. But you'd mentioned Shirakawa go like it's a part of Kanazawa? It's in Gifu, isn't it?
It is, however most people never stay in shirakawa go when visiting. Kanazawa or Takayama are really good bases to visit shirakawa-go.
Kana’zawa’ is the the city in this video. It’s in the prefecture of Ishikawa. Kana’gawa’ is the prefecture of which Yokohama is the capital 🙏🏿
yamasang sushi at omicho
Kyoto is so much better then Kanazawa!!
