Running a S680 right now in wheat. All the plastic and electrical stuff only holds up for a year a two. And they keep adding more to the new combines. Wish they would stop adding computers and make quality again.
Got that right, I run a s660 now, its nice but runs into a few issues. I still have my old 9500 for backup on beans, that seems to be the last good combine deere made. I think next time, im going to be looking at case or lexion.
Have you ever heard of “Right to Repair”? Almost all of our equipment in the past was John Deere, and we own a complete set of service manuals for everything. Like most people in agriculture, we have to try and fix it ourselves to stay in business. For every piece of John Deere equipment made, there is another manufacturer just as good, if not better. Round balers? Vermeer Square balers? Krone Windrowers? Macdon Tractors? Versatile Combines? Claas John Deere used to mean quality equipment. Not any more. They have shown us their new business motto - rip off the customer. We won’t ever buy anything green again.
@@TheOneSaskatchewanFarmBoy They sure do. Probably because they’re better than anything Deere ever made. Not saying Deeres weren’t any good. The 4895 and 4995 were tough, simple tractors that didn’t have many problems. Macdons are just better. They are easily adapted to any type of header, and their drapers are BY FAR better than anything else on the market.
I’ve seen several farming channels on RUclips wanting to do a video on the X9. No demo. No salesman. Just the combine sitting next to the field. I guess this was an invitation only event? The best thing to do is all of your own research before purchasing/leasing tractors or equipment. When a company provides little to no information, that speaks volumes!
Case ih has had most of this stuff for a long time except for twin rotor, and the auger bed inside the separation system is basically the same as a international 1480 but as we know u guys like to copy and once the patent on case ih shaker is done you will have the exact same thing
Do they really expect me to believe that these are all random farmers. No they are the guys who buy 4,5,6 new combine from deere every year for the pat 20 years and are never gonna say anything bad about them
Yep, it’s pretty much scripted with stupid comments like it handles really well. If they put real unbiased farmers in there you’d hear comments like - pivoting tip spout? I’ve had that for five years. No shoe augers? Had that for 15. Cross auger shut off, had that for six years. Why is the sample so dirty? When you change a setting does it actually do anything? Do the door panels still slam into my head when it’s windy? Has anyone ever looked at how they lock on claas and then they don’t knock you unconscious on a windy day? Yeah, I think you looked at claas. Your sprayers are garbage, why didn’t you buy agrifac instead of Hagie. 7200 an hour? Huh, yeah right.
Of course they are people who run multiple units. Thats exactly who the combine was designed for. They are literally on camera explaining what was important to them and it looks like JD delivered. We run JD and know alot who do as well, believe me, JD owners are critical of the weak points.
looks like something from Europe. I prefer the sts and s series combines look, but I understand that you need a dual rotor combine like CLAAS for faster and better harvest but those thing look expensive and I bet only the biggest farmers buy them.
Except the claas does zero threshing with theirs. This is just a copy of a new Holland. What they say this machine can do is only mildly impressive. Put it beside a flagship new Holland or the new claas and let's see who truly is the king
Oh, Oh! The left rear tire is down on air. I'll have the JD dealer come out and check on it. Probably the tire pressure air monitor computer is bad again! They need a special tool to put air in the tires! Only the dealer has one, farmers can't put air in their own tires anymore! Just a look into the future, and this is the way it will be!
As the farmer is interrogated in a room of what to say........ #1. We did not fully copy NEWHOLAND #2. This is not a Newholland. #3. Of course it runs smoother. We still did not copy NEWHOLLAND again. #4. Just listen to your ear bud and we will give you a X9. We promise 😂😂😂😂. Getting off topic @Johndeere. Is there going to be a updated rollar on my new Johndeere 560M round baler?? Or do we just keep replacing the part at $4000.00 cad??? Or can you just take my baler back?? We can blame this whole issue on the COVID-19. 👎👎👎👎👎👎👎👎👎👎👎👎👎👎👎
Gleaner still makes a better combine than John Deere and I have run all of the biggest combines on market and I have found Gleaner then New Holland are the top 2 combines on the market for service and ease of repair so when John Deere can do that then maybe I go back to John Deere
Deere engineers could have consulted with New Holland who first put out a twin rotor combine in 1975.Thats 45 years.Back when Deere was still making the New Generation 3300,4400,6600 & the Turbo 7700.As with quadtracs, rowtracs & this 8RX CaseiH Magnum rowtrac wannabe once again Deere is late to the game.
@@gamerfarms9362 you don't think fruits vegetables nuts beans seeds are food? Yes lots of my relatives are farmers and own lots of land. We don't need second hand nutrients from an animal's body it doesn't make any sense! Animals aren't food

Beautiful combine it's a beast JD thanks for listening to the farmers for what they want in a combine you have made them very happy.
Love the redesigns with the led lights the vehicles look so good.
I work at a dealership in northern Alberta and our farm runs all green !
Is your farm vegan yet?
I was a harvester operator for six years, today I am a technician in cryogenic maintenance, but it is impossible to forget life in the field.

My thoughts as well, as 90% of Deere customers, Deere has lost track on quality and gone to quantity

@@billcarver6539 Try a new Gleaner, you will love it.
we're trying to get back on track wit quality
Love John Deere
Love this one and the Fendt
Love my JD tools just wish I could fix them
Can I get color specifications like a black beauty or industrial color and even duel tracks
Look at all this new technology that CNH has had for years. John Deere the great imitator oh I'm sorry Innovator🤣😂🤣
Great video! That's one awesome combine! Thanks for sharing!
What happened to the X950? Now it is called the X9 1000 or 1100
I lobe john deer since in was 5 or 6 now I'm 14
we demoed a claas it’s a good combine but the X9 ran circles around it

Funny things is that we haven’t heard anything about this combine 2 YEARS LATER LIKE TF?

Only 3.2 km/h on that wheat ? That is really low... I hope that it can go faster than this in european wheat
it probably won´t, because european grain yields are about 35-55% higher than in the US
Probably in MPH

John Deere.. sempre una signora miettitrebbia... seconda a nessuna.
Doesnt this depreciate $400k-$500k in its first season?

If you are going to run the reel at that speed you had better get a Gleaner S98.
Super

new holland would be case to
We run Gleaner S97's, they are really easy to set and do a great job in the hopper and on the ground. Best combines made. Really easy on fuel also.
Deere is number 1 for good reason.
why dont you let someone review te x9 fore real
People have reviewed it they love it like honestly its the next generation of combines

123t/h en mais avec du maïs a 15.6t ha...
Of course they are happy, i would be same with free stuff.
Except Mike Mitchell, who would have given an honest, no BS review. Good move
All they did was copy what Case and nh had all along. And jacked the price
Problem is they cost to much.. In 3 years will they cost 2 million? It's always about the share holder.
0.12 John Deere innovation? New Holland has had twin rotors for forty years!
Hopefully this combine can help me and my wallet
😍🤤
wer oder was ist Fendt ???
muito fraca, fendt muito mais maquina 9t
