I just got my first SS triangle former! I love the way the clear frit looks between the pattern bars!
Thank you for sharing your process! 😎💜🔥

You can use normal nons stainless angle iron welded to a flat plate so it creates a triangle shape and just weld flat pieces to the end. 1700 is well below it's melting temp just be care to cover fully with fiber.

Creative design and well executed on your video. How did you keep the clear frit from spilling out at the edges?

      Bullseye GlassTac glue

This is cool! Any reason you used frit and not stripf of glass between the pattern bar pieces?

Yes, there are several reasons. These lines are not straight, so you need to cut multiple chunks and insert them without gaps.

I have been doing lampwork for 20 years. I'm getting into the fusing slumping world. Just curious...what grit size do you use in your flat lap? Should I get several grit sizes? If so what sizes?

You need at least 2 disks. One sintered diamond 100-120 grit, and another one - resin diamond 270 grit. This is the minimum. Normally you need more. One coarse disk - 50-80 grit, several resin disks (600-800 grit) and one felt disk for polishing.
