R.I.P Poe and Lee.
Christopher Lee brings this story / poem to life.
This has to be my absolute favorite telling of The Raven
This is a fantastic reading of the ultimate Gothic narrative poem. Happy Halloween,
Mr Poe!☠️👁🦇
Thank you for the subtitles. I adore Poe's tales and poems, abd particularly this one.
Wonderfully done. My third time revisiting this! Love it.
You are an absolute GOAT with that description! =D
so beautiful great job love the voice expression
Love the poem and the music choice!!!
Is there a version of this exact/specific reading by Christopher Lee (not the other version), but without the background music? I like the music, but I want to listen to it without music too.
Thanks again for the simple yet practical subtitles :) Very much appreciated.
@@hispanoholics-podcast6095 Wonderful! What is the music?
Awesome 👏
Well, but in original 1849 fifth line is " 'Tis some visiter" (gallicism), not "visitor". And "tis" - is shorted archaic "it is" (Cambridge Dictionary). "Seraphim" - is the plural archaic hebrew form "seraph" ("seraphs" - "Annabel Lee"). Pluto - isn't simply a ruler of the underworld, he is the god of Death and the ruler of underworld Kingdom of Death in classical mythology. So "Night shore" - the shore of Kingdom of Death (Stygian shore).
The only one possible performance, Christopher Lee voice.
The Raven has left Minas Morgul...
R.I.P. Christopher Lee
