I am a big fan of the Worksharp products, particularly of the "Tribrasive Guided Benchstone" (2 diamond and one ceramic plate) and the Guided Field Sharpener with the two diamond plates, the ceramic rod and leather strop I want to discuss today.
The ceramic rod on the Guided Field Sharpener has 3 sides, a fine one, a coarse and one with two grooves to sharpen fishing hooks.
I knew a long time about the "coarse" side of the rod, but never really used it. The fine side and a little stropping are enough to get any of my knives hair widdling sharp.
After watching your video I had to check out, if the grooves of the "coarse" side of the Field Sharpener fit into the fine serrations of my Vaquero Grande.
    And, voila, they fit.
After some minutes of sharpening the fine serrations I used the "fine" side of the rod for the big serrations, then did 2-3 passes along the rod with the backside of the blade to remove the burr.
Some passes on my "round dowel strop" I use for recurved knives did it to give the Vaquero Grande an edge, sharper than the one from the factory.
To be honest, typing this text needed more time than sharpening the Vaquero Grande.
Thank you for this pro tip that made me check out the "coarse" side of the ceramic rod of my Worksharp Guided Field Sharpener!
