he wasn't lipsyncing completely though, it was probably just a backtrack for the first part of his line in case he forgot to come in. There was nothing backtracking his voice when he wasn't singing later on even though there were lyrics there.
I know this is three years later, but that first line was always lipsynced because he is literally jumping over someone doing it and you can’t really sing stably while doing that. The rest is his voice though, that’s why you don’t hear anything for a moment. They did the same with The8 during one performance where he did flips across the stage during his part. There are certain dance moves that you just can’t sing during. Of course I think by now Seventeen have proved that they are amazing vocalists. ☺️
it really shows what an amazing leader scoups is for stopping and looking back to see if vernon's okay; he really cares about the others and it really shows through. also amazing how they kept it going and were back on track in seconds!
