Hatate is the new LUBO! Both feet score goals for us. He needs to get his cofidence built a bit more and he will be a key player in winning the league title for us again. Watch this space. Let's stop the negative criticism that can lower team confidence. We were still a tad rattled on sunday from the European nightmare but the confidence will be solidified at Paradise! Hatate has been very poor this season and IMHO he is one of the most overrated Celtic players ever. He gives you 2 good games out of 10. His attitude seems off and his passing and consistency levels are poor. Anybody think he will be sold for £20m are crazy.
Aberdeen will go into the game against Celtic the way Celtic went into the game vs Dortmund. I think the result will be similar. They look way open at the back.
I think Hatate is a misunderstood player. I think he is still relatively inexperienced in terms his football career due to being a late starter. He does have real quality but probably lacks the physical attributes to really dominate and thrive in a superior league. His mentality could perhaps be questioned as it seems he struggles to build consistency. He will always provoke debate amongst fans as ultimately we love to see him play and he is a talented player!

In my opinion Hatate isn't close to world class. He's good at SPFL level, but even then he's inconsistent. I don't think Rodgers is inept, perhaps if we lose to teams similar to us in Champions league I'll change my mind, but if we can put in Bratislava performances against Bruges, Zagreb, Young Boys etc, then I think his refusal to change style (and getting subsequently humped) by bigger teams will be vindicated. Folk were quick enough to brand MOR world class, without even playing for Denmark. Reo shoud have left in the Summer when the German and English teams were in for him. He is unsettled under a manager that has zero tactical or strategic awareness to evolve beyond beating teams in Scotland, including once again, the worst Rangers team in their history.

Silverware in England is tough which he has done. Tuesday definitely was an awful result, but I believe if we can right the ship then we can get playoffs of CL and it'll be an incredible success. Hatate isn't even a regular starter for Japan, he's only got a few caps and wasn't selected for WC, so I don't know how he could be world class for them? O'Reilly is a vastly superior player to Hatate and that's why he got his move to England. Hopefully Hatate can discover some form and be more consistent, but I get Ntcham vibes from him.
