this is one of the best kpop songs of 2023 by far, I love the melody especially when it's on the softer side of things. It reminds me a little of the sound from the early 2000s, in fact the girls are incredible here and the choreography is so satisfactory to watch 💞

Not every group has to have foreign approval. Its completely fine for Korean pop to be known to.. Koreans. 😂 The only problem IST had with this group is Ven Para. It's was just so lazy of a comeback decision. It was also right at the very end of girl crush being popular, but weeekly went viral in Korea.. not overseas. So it didn't even make sense to release a girl crush comeback when girl crush was dying, because girl crush wasn't ever popular in Korea anyways. Then Jiyoon removal/leaving turned off the fans overseas that found them through ven para. Weeekly is very well known in Korea though. They're not underrated. There's literally hundreds of groups doing worse than Weeekly. They're completely fine.

They suddenly become evil/darker girl right after Holiday Party, what's the story, are they super human, that's not included since their debut concept explanation and that what's make people's mind confused , if it was Loona's or Dreamcatcher's than it would be easier to understand because they constantly push the story/ the sign of moon/ planet/ darker theme throughout their comebacks with visual and bass in their mvs. Girl, they are doing business, they need branding, the group's image/ awareness need to be consistent, if it change it need a process with careful preparation (espicially with a group being famous by the school theme like weeekly, at least they need a small youtube show before venpare to explain the concept change and the song need a harder choreography) they can't do whatever they want. The Venpara Mv is bland too, they should do it like Loona So what or everglow First Ven para should be a experiment bside to know whether fans and the public like that direction or not Comeback music can be loud, bass-heavy but it need more than just noisy sound, it need visual element, story, and more ..Wth that kind of comeback they hard-enough dance performance, or/and super high note like KIss of life Bad news, in that way people may not like to hear it alone but they'll be willing to watch the performance more ... every group has strengths and weaknessses, weeekly is not Lessafim or Itzy or any group that is dance-based .
