No man I didn't buy. Maybe you don't know that if you haven't reached 5000 achievement points you have minor event bars. In this event you certainly have bar 1 5000 and bar 2 10000, and the keys you get are 160. For my magician who has exceeded 5000 points the bar 1 is 20k and the bar 2 is 40k and the keys are 640. The jewel you mean can be found at grima costs 4k draken, the drop at merciless level is no better than blood.

You have to open the 10 key chests at map 2 to gain progress.
