One of my favorites since I was a kid. Questionable authorship... listening to it again with that in mind - YES, it's a fantastic piece and brilliantly performed! - I can see that it's a bit simplistic for Bach, however entertaining it is. (Like the 8 Little Preludes & Fugues, which I also recently saw were spurious. My world is shattered!) Wonderful playing.
Thanks for uploading. I think this is my favorite Bach Organ piece, it's so fantastic.

@@yaroslavkaiuk380 ^ That is indeed what the experts say. It is no longer in the main section of the BWV catalogue, it is in the 'Anhang II: Works of doubtful authenticity'
The pedal work is not normal Bach. But it does seem like a showoff piece and its reminds me of maybe a transcribed work. It sounds related to the toccata and fugue in d minor BWV 565.

anche se pare non essere autentica agli studiosi e d esperti, trattarla come una compizioncella...Dovevano dialogare grand'organo e positivo…..Peccato perché questa composizione si trova confinata nel XI vol. ed peters ed eseguita cosi'...La eseguo da 40 anni...mai sentita cosi', col flautino e bordone..forse c'è anche un flauto 4'.. Peccato, per me' s'intende. Cari saluiti.

It's the worst piece Bach never wrote, but clearly related to his masterly early P&F in G bwv 550 -- hmmm. I used this A minor shoot-'em-up as postlude last night and people went ape for it.
Worst - at least have the respect to qualify your claims not merely stating an opinion hoping we’ll ‘make sense’ out of it
