I love him. It’s fine that he’s helping his daughters create a living of their own but I’m sad they didn’t just make their way in life. Sly’s movies taught me to beat my own path so his daughters feeding off his name is ironic.

Time really is the most valuable currency. More than any possession or liquidity. Long distance is definitely not easy either, I applaud those that make it work and they should be proud that they can.

My late dad gave me advice to break up with a male friend back in 1999. He was absolutely right. I never loved that male friend anyway. My father had a sixth sense about the men in my life. He was almost always right. I am glad I listened to him then.
Sly and his wife are truly blessed. Having a bright smart independent daughter thats grown up very nurtured and connected to family is all parents cud ever wish for let alone having all 3 daughters growing up correct. Thats a testament to them as parents and there honed parenting skill over time how to raise kids cuz theres no blueprint to raising kids. Either way good on em!

I just started watching this last week and girl, 25, you good. You don't need to know what tf you're doing. We're not our parents. I love the military brats comment, I'm a brat. Just be you, do your own thing. Your parents did and we are not our parents. I'm a parent of teenagers and I just want them to be healthy, happy, kind and productive members of society. That's a lot. That is success to me.
I've loved the rocky movies every single 1 because felt like it was such a heart warming I didn't look at really the boxing but it's it was the it was the heart of the movie that I loved and I could feel the heart That he has for his for his family Knowing how he grew up and how awful it was He didn't Carry that forward
