TxMaTHY average grades are better than none! As long as you’ve got your 5 GCSE’s at at least a C that’s all that counts!
You did amazing! GCSE's are a stepping point, the only ones that are looked in later life are english and maths and they're still overlooked at times! Don't worry about it, you did so so well! You should be so proud!

im going into yr 11. best thing is to just keep everything fresh in your head, revise LITTLE BUT OFTEN. make sure you are focused and keep all the distractions away. best way to revise is to use flashcards imo, they work for me lmao. also make sure you have a life tho, dont turn yourself into a machine otherwise you'll become sick. you have loads of time so dont stress yet, but make sure you put in the work. the harder you work in yr 10, the easier it will be in yr 11, TRUST ME
I’m going into year 11, what I think you should do is buy a separate notebook for each subject and write down condensed notes on everything you need to know on the syllabus so that you’re revising the important stuff

Dw you did really good imo- but did you get the marks or ums because I sat English Lang a year early and I only got the grade not the marks

I get 3/4/6 in year 8 ... is it different when graded in exams bc a one is a year 7 grade
MlouG123 37 it can vary! Year 11 is a difficult year, some of my grades went down compared to mocks but others went up so as long as you revise and do your best that’s all you can do and you may go up but you may go down so prepare for both!
MlouG123 37 it’s different because you don’t start the gcse content til yr 10 usually and u only learn all the content by the end of yr 11 so only then can u truly c the level ur working at coz like u I’ve never got a 3 in any of my subjects even in yr 7

I'm just wondering how people have done on average. I know people at my school did very well and have been averaging 8 ish but I was wondering if anyone knows if the average mark has been released.
Max Leonardi there isn’t an ‘average grade’ because not everyone does the same subjects

I can relate so much with chemistry, i came out so confident
I knew it was hard but I had hope the grade boundaries would be lower giving me a chance of passing but oh well! I don’t need it so there’s no point dwelling

How come you were expecting a low grade for history did you not revise for it?
Randomer X I did revise but history has never been a strong point for me it was always geography! But history was compulsory so I had no choice but walking out of the exams I had barely written anything so I knew history would be bad
emily garner you didn’t get a choice between history and geography? Our school gave the choice, I took history and the syllabus is massive, I still have a year to go lol

As long as you tried, thats all you can do. There is always an option to re sit the exam if you want to try again. I believe in you, whatever you choose to do, everyone will support you x
