I enjoyed watching😌🙏Your Stanhopea has amazing flowers, and I wish I could experience the exquisite floral perfume🙏Great job on cleaning your greenhouse, that was quite hard work there.
Hi Howard, thank you for sharing. Always looking forward to watching your new videos. Such lovely blooms, wish I can get a sniff of that Stanhopea! Greetings from LA :)
Beautiful greenhouse . And that dendrobium is wonderful. Another one for my wishlist. Hope you’re orchids don’t suffer to much during the heatwave . Looking forward to the next video.
beautiful set up and.... well aphyllum!! love my aphyllum and I am currently working on a huge mount where I am pinning all the keikis on, so that, one day I will hopefully have a curtain of blooms for the short time they are around.
Great job! You did so much work! I wish one day when I move from USA back to BRASIL, I will have a nice green house like yours! Will you have more light with no side wall?
The two main walls are our house or the house next to us. The low end walls are to help prevent heat loss together with double glazing. The north east aspect is great in summer to prevent overheating but in winter it is a big drawback. I'm experimenting with some extra led lighting.
Hi Mary. No. With my plant it just seems to want to keep growing and not lose it's leaves for the winter. I haven't tried forcing it by withholding water although I reduce the frequency to about every 2 weeks. The leaves on the previous years canes then drop off just before the buds start developing in about May. Flowering is then in June/July.
@@HowardRice That is what I experienced with my variegated anosmum this year. She was growing for two years just to produce more canes and suddenly this year started to bud up! I look forward to the blooms and the scent a lot!
There's the wonderful greenhouse now: clean and sunny and lovely and peaceful! Great job, Howard! The orchids are so gorgeous! Thanks!
Lovely blooms and greenhouse. Thanks for sharing.
Marvellous Chanel Howard.Congratulations from Spain.

Hi Howard, gorgeous stanhopea and d.aphylum blooms, love it! Do you give your aphylum a dry winter rest to get such wonderful blooming?
