I did not own the DVD but I'm glad that someone upload the previews of "The Longest Yard" (2005 edition) on RUclips because new movies are added to Paramount Home Entertainment since the 2000s have been decade for every generation to watch for.
Great DVD. One thing, The Longest Yard was released on the same day as DreamWorks animated family-friendly film Madagascar, also featuring the voice of Marty; Chris Rock. Whereas Madagascar was rated PG and aimed at children, The Longest Yard was rated PG-13 and aimed at teens. Also, whereas Madagascar was made by DreamWorks Animation, The Longest Yard was made by Paramount, Columbia, MTV Films and Happy Madison. The trailer of The Honeymooners was released on the same year as Madagascar. Both of these films star the voice of Maurice; Cedric the Entertainer. By the way, whereas Madagascar was rated PG, The Honeymooners was rated PG-13. Finally, whereas Madagascar was made by DreamWorks Animation, The Honeymooners was released by Paramount Pictures. That’s why Chris Rock and Cedric the Entertainer both appeared in animated and live-action films that were both released in 2005.
Keep in mind that this is the real Paramount that did the Transformers movies and some Avengers movies, and the real Columbia that did the Spider Man movies.
