I was saying it takes a while to create your bank account and so you cannot receive money for the first few months (unless through money transfer options like western union) so it’s better to come with some cash so as not to be stranded

I know people who could use hier Ghanaian bank cards in France so it should be possible with UK. You bank should know you’re traveling though so it’s not considered theft.
