That was amazing. I like how the captain periodically leans forward to get a better look at where he must turn to line up with the runway and how calm he is throughout the descent and touchdown.
Holy baby Geesus. Those inputs it’s what i look like trying to keep a straight line in Microsoft flight simulator. Y’all better be glad I’m not a pilot.
Very hard job doing a landing in Funchal with variable crosswind but Captain you did it very well... those winds always make the pilot flying work. Must be in Madeira to know that. Congratulations 👍
After spending 20 years in the 737, I can assure you that much "Monkey Motion" is wholely unnecessary. Just look at what preceeds one of his big inputs. Nothing!
Like a Michael Jordan only in a bird with 100's of lives at stake Brilliant! Even with all the AP until the last bit, in the end it is the talent and experience of the pilot in all conditions to stick that bird on the centerline. And there are countless videos of those.
In slow flight for landing the flight controls surfaces are not very effective due to less air flowing over them. This requires large deflections of the contols to get small changes in direction.

BRAVO SUPERB LANDING DESPITE THE CONDITIONS. BEAUTIFUL VIEW

Great video! Congratulations to the pilots for the beautiful landing.
Very difficult landing in windy conditions. 👍
And very soft tochdown with a perfekt flare... admirable... 😮
That is why pilots earn so much they are highly skilled experts of aviation. I think that came close to a go around !
Don't think that even close to a go round. My opinion of course through experience
Awesome work! May I feature this landing in one of my next episodes? Of course with a link back to your original video. All the best to you!
Wow hard work!Well done.
Flew last year-really turbulent 😮
A great video of this plane landing.
I also like how the steering wheel in the co-pilot seat moves all around but he or she doesn't touch it.
Cap makes it look WAAAY easier than it is. Bravo to the crew.
Great landing! Thanks for sharing!
Beautiful Approach...Greetings from the Caribbean 🌴🇹🇹
I have never seen or read from a person from Trinidad and Tobago! Hello there!
@@dacallp Guess what..it's your lucky day...nice to meet you..from the twin isle republic, land of Calypso & Soca Music 🇹🇹
would love to be in the right seat, you guys have a fantastic office and view!
The captain is working it!!! Damn!
Amazing. He sure was steering a lot.
Good job!👍
Cool video! What camera did you use?
Absolutely incredible.
Gradient winds are the problem here and the topography.....great landing with stablised approach from 500ft.
Is this normal on the 737 to move the yoke that much for correction? Or that's a bit over controlling? Just curious

@yukon4511 that's what I thought, thanks for sharing your experience
Good stick sir!!👍👍
Camilas would love this ...!!!
Like a butterfly with sore feet!

What kind of pit are these pilots operating in? Can we still call it a cockpit when there is a female co-pilot?
Jaka data tego lądowania?
Nice 👍
What kind of plane is this?
Boeing 737 maybe
That was hard work
nice job!
Hi from lisbon🇵🇹

What a great landing! An ordinary pilot would have aborted 4 times on the final approach.
Massive overcontrolling.
Thanks for info i would like to take lesson with you at Madeira, it can by on your RV9.
mad overcontrolling
Necessary in order to keep the aircraft stable in severe gusting situations like this one.
Looked fine
How many hours on the 737 do you have?
@@windowseat7334 He has like 12 on microsoft flight sim prob 💀

Please relocate your camera. That view of the window bar is not very informative, or appealing. Thanks.
