When my son gets older I'm not going to come around and I'm not going to talk to him so he can hear my voice. But I'll write him a book and in that book I'll tell him I love him but also that he's wicked. And I'll tell him to talk to me anytime he wants but if he wants to hear me he has to read the book I wrote him.
If that sounds crazy, then you'll understand my frustrations when I don't hear from my Father in heaven.
In many ways the silence just increases the doubt. Not in His existence. But in Him actually wanting anything to do with me.
And I feel the doubts often make the sin harder to fight off. My biggest sin is lust and masturbation. I've asked many times for Him to remove this desire in my mind and He refuses to do so.
So that's where I'm at. I believe He's there. But I have doubts that I'm saved at all.
