Dear Dr Sudhir, I underwent cataract surgery for both eyes on 10th April and 7th June '24. respectively at your Gomtinagar facility. On both occasions, it was very overwhelming experience. Hi Sir, your videos are really enlightening. I'd appreciate an advise on a urgent case.
The patient is Female, 60, housewife, and has cataract in both eyes. We are planning to go with Phaco and Eyehance but she has astigmatism of 2.5D.
Can she go with just a Monofocal instead of Toric IOL, and fix the astigmatism with glasses?
We are concerned about the rotation of the IOL and cost of it's readjustment, post-implantation.

Sir, meri dahini aankh ka operation 20 jun, 2024 ko huwa tha garg opthalmic Lucknow me. 2 mahine pahle se vision kam hone laga, dikhane per Dr garg ne bataya ki lens 15 degree apne aap ghum gaya, isliye vision kam huwa hai. Ab kuchh nahi ho sakta. Kripya uchit margdarshan karen. Kya aapko dikhane per theek ho sakega.

Thanks a lot for educating us regarding cataract surgery. I am 57, DM 2, have moderate NDPR in RE due to this I am finding it difficult to read (with glass RE), probably means cataract. I have come to know that you have done laser procedure to correct vision of one our family friend. Sir will it be possible to restore proper vision with laser technique only or replacement of lense is the optimum solution. Pls advice..!

Sir , if you are talking about the lasik vision correction , however this is not for you , you need to go for cataract assessment and retinal evaluation for possible diabetic retinopathy, if cataract is the reason for poor visual recovery than go for surgery

Hai vahi -3.5 but abhi saaf dikhta hai chasma se to kya hame dusri aankh bhi sergery karani hai jo right eye se problem ho rahi thi vo left me nahin hai but ek aankh ka power 0 ho gaya dusri ka -3.5 bahut unbalance aur uncomfortable lag raha hai aise me kya karna chahiye

If you can continue with glasses you should, but if you are not comfortable with glasses than plan the surgery in other eye
