    No discussion of performance or feel or durability. Just sound. Cool story kid 👌 well done 👏

    You completely ignored DT Swiss' explicit instructions on how to apply the grease, which are even printed on the grease container itself.

    Very clear and informative on how to install it, but no verdict? What about the "Really worth it?" I assumed this was going to be a report on experience using it, based on the title.

    • @klein-concept
      @klein-concept  9 месяцев назад +1

      🫣 good point. It actually depends what you want the upgrade for. If you are looking for a louder hub i would say that its not worth it but if you re looking for a smaller engagement angle because you re climbing a lot then i think it does make sense.
      Hope this helps 🤜🤛

    The difference in price is not significant between 36 and 54 sometimes now, is it worth it to go 54 from 18? Thanks!

    • @klein-concept
      @klein-concept  7 месяцев назад +1

      From yes i would go up. But to 54 only if you do lots of hills and need the small engagement angle. Otherwise i would say 36 is good enough.

    Moin! Abgesehen vom Nutzen, ist der Freilauf mit dem 36T Setup generell eher lauter als so Freiläufe mit drei Sperrklinken?

    • @klein-concept
      @klein-concept  11 месяцев назад +3

      Kann man leider nicht so sagen. Meine günstigen Elitewheels sind mit ihren sperrklingen zb deutlich lauter als das 36t setup. Dann ist das 36t setup zb lauter als meine alten Hunt räder mit sperrklingen. Hängt also leider immer ein wenig vom design des freilaufs ab.

    • @Kiter94Lars

      Nice! Fahre gerade hinten ein Aksium Laufrad. Das Engagement ist Horror am Berg und würde es gut finden, wenn man mich von hinten anrollend besser hören würde. Deswegen kam ich auf die Idee das Laufrad mal zu tauschen und liebäugle ebenfalls mit dem Oxic. Kannst du mir das auf Grundlage dessen empfehlen?

    • @klein-concept
      @klein-concept  11 месяцев назад +2

      Aus engagement sicht auf jeden fall zu empfehlen. Vor allem mit dem 52t upgrade. Würde aber nicht wegen den freehub sound upgraden. Es ist auch recht leise.

    • @twgq
      @twgq 8 месяцев назад +2

      @@klein-concept Die Sperrklinken von DT sind zb wesentlich lauter als alle Ratchet Systeme. Sperrklinken von Campa sind leiser aber haben mehr einen Sound, wie die 54er Ratchet. Shimano Sperrklinken sind komplett leise.
      Aber man kann mit der Fettmenge einiges herausholen. Hier auch der Tipp das Fett überall auftragen außer auf der Kontaktfläche der Ratchet Rampen.

    You bought a new one, purely for the sound check?

    • @klein-concept

      Depends on what you are looking for. If you are looking for the smaller engagement angle, then i would say it is worth considering. If it s mainly for the sound, then maybe not.

      @@klein-concept hard to say about sound comparison, could you describe your opinion? Is it louder, or smother? I do like softer sounding freehubs, that is why I don't want to buy 240 hub wheelset

    • @klein-concept
      @klein-concept  Год назад +3

      @@michelbesedin7081 i have to say it is not really loud but maybe i just added a bit too much grease to it. I prefer a loud hub especially on busy roads so people in front notice me.
      It was nice on the climbs to have the very small engagement angle but maybe the 36T would have also been enough for that.

      If you want your hub louder, than use 15w40 or thinner to grese your ratchet. Maybe a tiny amount of Mos2 in that oil will extend the life of the ratchets and the greasing intervall.
